A lot quicker indeed than giving out a 1 game suspension to Pronger for his 3rd offense in the same playoffs... I applaud their paying attention to the details that really matter in the game! I am replying to You who is replying to me who is replying to you etc.... I am not grasping random posts here... Playoffs don't have me off my game... In fact the random threads started about the most assine stuff going on in the NHL during playoffs is rather humorous... I will forever chuckle when i hear the rule read aloud or see it written on paper... its effing funny as hell... that verbage is so spot on! Now i wonder how enforcible it will be... i mean its not something as obvious as a missed puck into the netting still being in play (twice so far i have seen) or a skate in the crease scoring the gwg of the stanley cup... I am sure it is just a matter of time before we are all bitching about goalie intererence costing us a goal anyways... Ah well... sooooo How come i can still buy tickets to nashville tonight? I thought they had real fans down there

Unfortuantly they were all hit prior to the start of the Playoffs and are all on the IR because of the hits Long live eRAT!

Just some random thoughts addressing these.. If Brody was a good boy he would stay in his crease where the skater isn't allowed and where Avery wasn't. The only time he was ever in danger of getting hit by Avery is when it came out of the crease to PUNCH Avery in the face. But without contact... there is not high-sticking penalty.. Then only contact made was Brody PUNCHING Avery... Players don't get high-sticking penalties because they almost hit a player.. contact must be made... unless its a great sell by the opposing player.

I hope so too... so far TooToo has pwned the Pain train... Also silently went on to lead the team in scoring so far... D-mac isn't nulifing him at all... Epic Failure

You can't tell me this isn't absurd to have it "officially" documented: "An unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty (Rule 75) will be interpreted and applied, effective immediately, to a situation when an offensive player positions himself facing the opposition goaltender and engages in actions such as waving his arms or stick in front of the goaltender's face..." I cant literally stop ing that this verbage is found in an official rule book of the NHL.... teehee

I still don't see how at the time this was wrong... although now with the new "avery rule" in effect... which BTW i think is Effing hilarious to know a specific rule was created (even as dumb as it sounds in written formality) specifically for something you did... now i guess it is "wrong" but still... everyone is

When can we start getting penalties for the teams also... I mean i can see the goalies now... "I mean I was so going to stop that puck... but some dick in the 3rd row told me i sucked... and it disctracted me!!!!!!!" I can not wait for that day to happen when fans can get 2mins for saying, "YOU SUCK" to a player.
