Actually i find myself moreso against a vast majority of the fans than the NHL in general... The fans tend to lessen/cheapen the game even moreso than the lack of disciplinary actions the NHL takes.

I also think it was pretty classy of Avery to Face Broduer and let him punch him in the face while looking directly at him... rather than having Brody (or any goalie for that matter) cheaply slash and crotch shot players from behind. Pretty great to actually see a player and a goalie battle face to face.

I would imagine i would get to witness a swift ass kicking by someone later in the game or in game 4... nothing wrong with that. TooToo doesn't do that though to dom... he actually is the one of the two preds that can score on Dom this series.

Game 5 means i will be there possibly so Bring it on for a win at the JLA!!!

I am just saying pick your battles.... Dancing or HEAD BREAKING.... which do you whine or care more about... Sadly the NHL tries way to hard the curb the dancy side cause that causes people to giggle at the NHL. Before THIS incident it was BITCHING about the JLA not being Sold out?!?! wtf?

exactly.... and even moreso the wings are, despite all the talent upfront, very guilty of lack luster and boring hockey play for long periods of any game... Or like in Game 2 you give up two horrific goals in like 25sec... not a whole of noise to be made other than STAY IN THE ******* NET!!! could be heard. Seeing the game on TV and being there are two totally different things... At home you have to rely on the Mics in the arena and the speakers on your TV to give you what you hope will be TRUE SOUND. often as with the first two games so far... that FAILS. the joe was so much louder in person than it was on TV.

Hell no we don't....as evidenced by this event... there would be threads every game for every player calling for a suspension... Open ice hits must be illegal somewhere somehow!!!!

I see nothing wrong with what Avery did... Holmer should try that... as i said it would distract from the goal he gets taken away because he is in the crease Not to mention this is an effing sport... not life... Perhaps people need to lighten up a bit on the non-life threatening things...

I can still criticize the game... it would be foolish to say that everything is peachy keen with the league. But... i like the sport... i can look past the non-sense for most part.. (aka players dancing, empty seats) and like the game itself... I don't really get all worked up about the idiocracies that go on all the time... SOme players are just made that way... learn to embrace them.

I love the game... but i am not going to get all pissy about some type of move like this... when more important issues with the league are being swept under the rug. Now had the puck gone in off of the glove of the flailing Avery... then we might have a discussion on our hands... to me people need to stop getting all Soap box-ish about THIS event and go back to counting the number of empty seats in out of town venues.

Personally i think the game already looks stupid... Thanks Gary!... This just adds some laughable times to the stupidity... At least we are talking about some guy jumping waiving dancing in front of a goalie than why Somebody took off some elses head and only got a 1 game suspension.... The league is already a joke... at least now people can laugh at it!

Its all distraction in my book people are just jealous because avery thought of it first... They don't like the trend setters Obviously the Devils (apart from brody) didn't mind what he was doing.... nobody stopped him.

So should players on opposing teams not tap their stick on the ice to try to get an Errant pass from the other teams player.... Should guys stop yelling out other teams nick names to try to get them to turn over the puck? Its all part of the game... you don't like the way avery was acting... BREAK HIS HEAD... i find it funny that the devils just LET HIM DO IT!!!!

I say if facing the goalie is a dick move then turn around and shake your groove thing for the goalie... Maybe Holmer should take this up... it might distract from him actually being a mm in the crease most times.

No i don't think so I love Brody... but just the same... I think goalies should be fair game when they go out side of the blue (if players get penalized for going into the blue. Being a fan of the devils (actually they are my Eastern Confernece team... I really do like them... i miss Stevens but i survive) has nothing to do with it. I think goalies get too much of a free pass... Wings goalies just the same.

Actually I DO If people can't come within 2 feet of the goalies they SHOULD NOT be allowed to make contact themselves. It has to go both ways.
