I like to look at it as a possible 9month of entertainment via hockey. I guess in my fan years i have been around losing in the post season a lot more than winning... so i just don't get bent out of shape when we lose. That maybe that is just me but winning it is all isn't everything. For me i would rather Lose with Feds than win without him if that was my options.. however as a smart ass cookie once said 5 years ago, NoSergeiNoCup. So luckily the win without feds isn't really an option

I am very sorry to hear that...

Another one bites the dust... and another ones gone and another ones gone... another one bites the dust. Well on a bright note... the D really can't get any worse than they have been!! It can only get better with the new blood being added. -
I see what you are saying i mean in the past i have dropped a good 2Grand each post season on 2 playoff tickets for all the but fourth round... but right now with the way thing are going on the financial front that is way more than i feel comfortable dishing out. But that is just me, I have learned to embrace my couch and/or watering holes around town for a fraction of the cost. Now if it was game 7 of SCF then maybe i would consider spending $200 for a ticket... but in the past post-seasons the game was fun while it went on but then that empty feeling came in on the way home... I found out that it was my bank account Like i said i hope this gets people to the Joe now and will shut people up about attendance...those arguements gets just as tiring as the goalies ones. Although i have no problem spending $150 for a complete post season package for the defending OHL champs! Affordable hockey and close to home.. where else can you see Greg Stefan drop the suit and slug it out with the other teams coach on the ice... (currently both indefinitely suspended for that mind you!) ahh the joys of the OHL

thank you Reem for not leaving me out! I was getting a little disheartened reading your post hehehe but i have been good!

Eh, prices are still too high, BUT if it shuts people up from bitching about the non-sellouts.. I am all for it! $200+ for 1 ticket for 2-1/2 hours of hockey???? yeah, no thanks. I know there are lowers prices but anyone is fooling themselves to think they would still be avaialble. The majority of the arena is in the $200+ price range.

When Marty hold playoff record for any team then we can talk about his success in the post season. I said Fedorov has had success in the past and he still holds records that no body has even touched on the wings in those 5 years he has been away (to me that means no body on the team has found that same success, am i wrong?) Fedorov will be a good mentor to the rest of the guys becuase he has done it before. For and example of leadership... as a struggling coach do you follow the teaching of a losing coach or follow the teaching of a coach who had succuess (more often then not they still won't be coaching either). If you want to be successfull you learn from someone who has been successful. Fedorov has had that success, will he still score in the playoffs? your no is as good as my yes... but he can show our kids what they need to be doing... 'cause lord knows they haven't been doing it the last 5 years!

Well welcome back here!
-
Pretty cool they are figureing it out... Hopefully that will be enough to get people to stop bitching about the joe being empty now. I still don't feel comfortable paying that much more for the same team, playoffs or not... but i am glad they made it more affordable so the "middle-upper class" can now afford to see the finals.

At least we realize that the best way to learn is learn from someone who has had success in a certain area. Fedorov has had success in lighting the lamp in the playoffs and thus he would be a great player to learn from... I am glad the uppers aren't tools!

*****? but its only one guy and he is the love of your life hehe

I am shocked we have one on the list?! wow i would have never known recently
-
I agree but it shouldn't happen until he falls out of the top 10 in stats. Maybe after his 10th loss this season it might work. You do realize Hasek lost recently also? The entire team is missing their coverage responsiblity.... technically we shouldn't even put a team out on the ice because we don't have any starters on our team right now... they are all playing like 2nd best athletes
-
exactly and DO NOT put in dryer! put it on a hanger

Now another question should be who does win it all? Kipper hasn't exactly been all too successfull winnig it all (only using him because you did) In fact our goalies facing less shots have seen the promise land 3 more times than a goalie like kipper... So now the question is why is that if they are so good? then the blame gets shifted to his team being the issue (ergo Luongo in Florida is always brought up because florida has "horrific" for him) then i have to ask, if our team is playing like s***... how will they faire any better on our team?
-
I don't have time to look it up but how tall his Chrissy listed as? 5'7" with skates on was how i remember him at best, granted he was young but he doesn't appear to have grown all that much, just bulked up. Then again Ryan Kesler was also uber short then all of the sudden he got to around 6" in real life. The NHL stretches you.

We got the two best in the league right now... who do you want to DOWNGRADE to?
