hahaha yup i think you did... ah well... just gotta roll with it... you can't fix dumb he needs to still get into the mind set of the NHL... AHL is much different than the NHL (there is a reason players get sent DOWN to the AHL for conditioning when they can't live up to the NHL level) I am all for Howie playing.. but coming in taking 1/2 or more of the games is soooo not the right path. He has barely held on in the games he has played so far... he isn't ready for the starting position or major game holder yet....

I am already getting ready for the Ozzie/Howie debats now for the next three years....

I would have to say the League leader would deserve to start for any team in the entire NHL in the playoffs... but i just look at league leading being the the best. This isn't a freak accident or like a WOW ozzie is player of the week... His league leading stats has been going on for a few months now.... The #1 deserves to play... if not its just silly. Lets call up Howard and let him start if that is the case... if leading stats don't matter. But who really cares... none of this goalie talk even matters if we don't get Sergei back at the deadline.... No Sergei = No Cup.... ye hath been cursed!

Biggest way have him shoot less and score more... thus bringing is scoring percentage back a reasonable amount. He fire more blanks than.......

The problem is he spells his name O-S-G-O-O-D and not H-A-S-E-K or R-O-Y or L-U-O-N-G-O the letters O,s,g,o,o,d are all silent so you never get to hear his name said at all i.e. he is invisible to the NHL no matter leading or not... in fact the awards are by default given to the player which is right below him because osgood dne in the eyes of the hockey world... he isn't a Carey or Ward after all. he is a nobody

I know wishful thinking... blah Off to saginaw tomorrow to see the Whalers vs. Sprit... go figure driving 1-1/2 hours, parking and tickets is still cheaper than going 30mins to detroit for me for a game... haha i am so not poisoning it other than speaking the truth... Isn't the goal to put your best players on the ice. Ozzie is not just the best goalie on our team but in the entire NHL... it would be silly to not have THE best represent YOUR best on the ice.

I kinda just have to lmao that the NHL allows this tool to keep playing. I would feel bad, but the NHL league offices seems to like this sort of behavior and promote it by letting him keep playing. I feel bad for Blake in this case, but overall... the league is allowing this action to take place over and over again.

I just think back to how that worked for the last leaf to defect to our team to "win" a cup and how well that worked out for him.... Just sayin' On a side note, i would love Mats on this team!
