would you not say he has improved a lot in the post season and not declined? Malkin had a better regular season (continually) and a much better post season this year than Hossa. And last year Malkin was only 4 points less than hossa over all in the post season, not too bad considering it was still 3rd on the team which made it to the finals red blinders can do a lot for fans can't they. at least a few radio personalities and a few fans were opened minded when came to actual hockey output and benefits for a team overall

I think its awesome that you had season tickets and able to go to every home playoff game... I envy your wallet but really that is sweet! enjoy the game, it will be a blast win or lose! I tried the season ticket thing for 2 years and i barely could go to 1/4 the games

they were talking on the radio 97.1.... who would you rather have Malkin or Hossa! I can't believe SO MANY said 30year old Hossa! Malkin is such the better performer than him anyday

it will mean everything last game babcock got obsessed with lineups and almost every 3 on 2 our guys would dump the puck in and line change to get the matches babs wanted out there... that was a huge reason for the lack of production i think... too busy changing lines every second with that said Bylsma played it great keep babs more concerned about matchups than actual scoring

+1 thats exactly it... if he didn't turn it over almost every chance he had the puck.... deep in our zone, in the neutral zone, deep in their zone i wouldn't get so pissed off at him. I kept saying i am pissed at hossa which attributed to the lack of goals and s***... but really its the turnovers that i keep call him out on. He has become a liablitly out there when he has the puck anywhere near him. Hopefully he can correct that and either pass the puck to flip or just stop trying to force himself and the puck through all 5 penguins ALL the time

perhaps we are looking at it wrong with. if over the season 93% of the games we say are played "below their potential" and thats the majority of the games played... doesn't that in fact mean that those games are the Norm and thus their potentional? then the other 7% is them playing above the Norm...above their potential just saying!

I am up north on friday so i will just continue my vacation going to Traverse City, Mackinac Island and Petosky this week... I will even wear my Wings t-shirt too and not feel bad about it Maybe the Petosky Casino can bring me some luck after the game on Friday

I will be up in Traverse City so i will ask the barkeep (if it isn't already on) to turn the game on... if not I will go back to the Condo and watch it there. Basically sit back and watch the game... you can't control the outcome so just watch it exactly as you did a game 6,5,4,3,2,1
