I do have to ask... is what many people on here are hoping will come about between Downey and Tootoo tonight not premeditated?... God forbid someone of them would get seriously hurt. Usually fights are all premeditated and involve punches whether suspected or unsepect to the head region... just sometimes the unthinkable result happens. Apart from sociopathic assults... which aren't premeditated? Sure Berts was premedittated same with every time Mr. Lemieux would come to town and people would rag on him and attempt to break his head.... You can't tell me McCarty didn't want to end Lemiuexs career... if he didn't he wouldn't have continued to punch when Mr. Lemieux demostrated he had no intention to fight.

1A is disputable.. cause right now Ozzie could handle being the 1 guy... its all a matter of the emotions going through the coaches mind at the time if the goalie is 1, 1A, 2 of 6... if the coach is too bone headed to not play the player... regradless of talent he will never be able to be the 1 guy. The only thing stopping him from carring the 1 title is becuase the coach is putting him back on the shelf when his play says he deserves otherwise. Given a chance Howard can be the number 1 and i pray if nohting more than stoping the effing goalie-go-round, we use him as the 1 guy in the future.

Too bad really we didn't get see who well it all played out. Bert has done his time... time for the media and peeps to move on.

Good thing D-mac didn't break Lemieux's neck with his punches i would hate to see him going through all of this bull s*** also. And also thank god Naslund didn't get seriously hurt from Moores original lack of caring for another player. Its not that i feeling this way because i am a Bert fan.. I just don't see beyond a reasonable doubt his broken neck was caused by Berts punch. And therefore the Moore camp should be happy with $1. Oh no i have seen it happen... he brought that on himself saddly... its was most unfortuante.

Thats seems just like Moneybag Mikes way of negotating... offer high and close VERY LOW. Moore's camp should cut their losses and accept that offer... Deal or NO deal style... they turned down the cool Million... their bad! Did they really expect the banker to make a HIGHER OFFER??? dumb logic...

I have seen more people get more seriously hurt by groups of people jumping on them than a single punch to the back of the head. Sticks to the head, Cross checks to the throats, hell even faces first being driven into the end boards havn't broken backs... how can i logically conclude that a punch to the back of the head could do this. Perhaps during a freak accident does it break a neck... but then it would be a freak accident. Until someone can prove without a reasonable doubt at what point Mr. Moore's neck snapped.. your views carry the same weight as mine.

Yeah i wouldn't shake his laywers hand either And if was not shaking Moore's... i guess it all boils down to whether you think it was the punch or the pile up that broke the lads neck.... I am guessing with that offer Bert feels the other 6 or 7 morons who jumped on top of the hurt Moore and continued to boyishly fight on top of his broken body should also have to open their wallets... its a fair assesment towards that offer

I just assume remove all helmets and face masks... bring it back old school like the jerseys are trying to do. This serves as two purposes: 1) it fuglies up the pretty boys hidding behind the masks 2) it will make goalies 2nd guess doing their JOB!

Thats what i heard... awesomeness... i hate rain, snow is much more fun all around! I am at the coughing up a lung stage right now... ugh... i am sick of being sick!!!!

It's threatening to do something down here... most likely spit a bit. We don't get snow until february at the earliest. sometime we may have a white christmas, but it is gone just as quick as it comes. haha.
