A part of me is finding it is hard since the lockout to love the team becuase they change all the gosh darn time. If we had any stability as there was pre-cap when, you know, players actually stayed for longer than 2 months, i would be alot more intested in it. That is the one way i see the lock out affecting my mentality... players changing team way to quickly and way to easily. Its a business i know.. but i have been with my same team for 7 years now.... so yeah.

I have that same mindset... never had any liking of the mightyducks.. now if htey brought out Coach Bombay and Banks and conway and gafnie and goldberg, i may put out the bucks for see D4 in theatres... or would it be D5 by now? Sorry Defending Cup champs or not... Ducks don't impress me much.

you bring up a very good point. The Vipers (god rest their awesome souls) would hardly ever sell out the palace... but they looked it on tv. Why because the folks at the Palace would have their workers scour the upper bowl to find fans and move them down to fill up the lower bowl. in areas where they camerea will show and nobody except ******* media writers looking to start a fight would know the wiser. We were the receprient of a move down from the upper the lower during several occasions during the lockout... heck me and my friends even got in Sport Illustrated during one of the games... about the NHL lockout (no not the most recent one) If moneybags really did have an issue with the perception of his team he would be doing someting like 1) lowering prices or B) moving around people to make the arena seem more full. and like you said, those $9 should not even be allowed to go on sale they are horrible, let alone when they were $22 up to this year. Its like saying, I didn't RAISE ticket prices again, but not letting on that he did cut 2% of the joe bucks to over 16,000 season ticket holders. Its all perception that is the ONLY reason those $9 are offered to the public... to perceive that he is doing his part to lower prices to get people to come... Sorry that is still not good enough. So yeah movin' on.

I am actually on the same side as her... i think it is a piss poor debate about your Fan-ness or the support of the wings by comparing it to the amount of people paying outrageous amounts for 2-1/2 hours of entertainment. OHNO it was opening night and they didn't sell out... Um hello it was the effing ducks! I care about seeing that team so much i almost passed out. Apart from Bert I have no interest in that team ever. I will always side with the fans and not with owners or media BOOOHOOOing cause their billions were lowered by a few pennies. Sorry folks the joe isn't sold out... put up or shut up! I say that alot about this subject. and I follow suit... I am not dishing out the cash to go, and i am not complaining about it either. hehe you may want to remove an "o" cause i wouldn't want him coming in here and saying, "huh, we did i say that?" haha

My company owned 10 seats in the lower bowl.. they gave up theres this season just like we did. Companies aren't dumb either... Facing financial problems in the auto industry AND keeping season tickets AND laying off people... Priorities people, priorites and at least my company knew the Tickets were to go first. I agree $44 should be $31 and the $54 should be $41 to go along with some of the $22 going down to $9

as of 2:20am this morning no... i heard they gave them away to FREE to everyone on the street outside the joe looking to get in. hehe.

Free beer yesterday too... its a myth... they make it sound good but in reality they don't hardly any $9. Its a ploy to get you to go down the joe so that will end up buying the more expensive seats. Maybe they should lower all the seat prices down by $13 cause then the $44 and $54 seats wouldn't be the only empty ones in the upper bowl.

I am happy to see the same half ass effort put into the opening page of the wings official site was put into the pyro show at the joe. if they wanted to be original they should add flame thowers into the face off dots and then a goal is scored the flames rise from the ice. Rest in peace the poor soul that happened to be resting on one at the time. But that unfortuante event is just part of the game when you have fire on ice. But the main question is where they actually timed in their booing... cause if so then HATS OFF TO THE CROWD... Usually you know Fedorov Touched the puck within the last 10mins or so when the booing starts. THey suck at booing... kinda embarassing actually. I got a little excited when Big Bert scored the goal. And another thing.. this all coming from a guy who gets FREE tickets to the game, gets FREE food at the game and gets FREE Parking at the game.... yeah Free is a nice thing... I would be down at the Joe 100% of the games... Hell i would even sleep in my seat and shower in the trough (well maybe not that far) if it was free. You would lose We love the attention... We get so hurt that noone cares that we assemble wire harnesses for cars... the disrespect people have by not showing up to watch us perform is a blasted OUTRAGE! Cheli even said, he knows his bar is packed on game nights.

haha perhaps the seats aren't full becuse of the lines for the troughs, beer or pizza or just walking around. Time got get over it everybody... Mr. Moneybags is still RACKING in the money, no need to feel bad for empty seats. I mean yeah poor him, he might have to settle for a less firm bed of $$'s to sleep on at night... poor him. I am so sick of reading about this stuff. People don't care blah blah blah blah. tell that the to the fans at BW3's in Fountain Walk. They care, they just don't want to to deal with the hastle of lining Mr. Moneybags wallet. I mean s***.. I don't have thousands of fan outside my cubical cheering me on every single day... do i feel shafted? do i not perform my job the same way? The players are working they will do there job with or without a live audience. And they will get adaqutely rewarded in pay. My case and POINT! I would rather put my money into the local joints than some money whores pocket personaly.
