Walk into Little Cesars and you will see discount coupons for Tigers games all summer long.... Oddly (owned by the same people) Red Wings fans are too shunned to even understand what the word Discount and Tickets together in a sentence would actually mean.

Detroit has the most loyal and devoted FOOTBALL FANS... if red wings were anything like the Lions... I would once again be one of the few still watching and attending all the games I could... Much like the 1980's. Detroit Hockey fans are for the most part FANS OF WINNING & SUCCESS, not necessarily the team itself. on that note, I am not sure what team base in hockey has the best fans. From the several times I have been to columbus, I was very impressed with their fans attitude and treatment.

Hasek ranked Feds shot as one of the hardest also... no mention of schnides by the veteran goaltender... however Macinnis was also named Al Iafrate rules all !

Pardon my ignorance on this subject...I am a wings fan through and through... please enlighten me as to what this "fan rally" is you speak of... We don't get the privledge of having those in Detroit, if they are what I think they are.

They have a few payment plans this season... but last season we had 1 week to come up with $4794 before they passed our tickets onto someone else. This season we actually had 2 full weeks of the invoice in our hands... unfortuantly no buyers wanted a vast majority of our tickets. I would like also ask, with your 'canes tickets did you get any price breaks (e.g. % off face value or discount on marking or such?)

I believe the most expensive is $75 at the joe... so figuratively speaking they aren't that expensive... putting them in a ratio with StateEconomic wows (highest unemployment rate in the country) and ticket prices... that is where the expensiveness comes into play. It become all relative to the place where the venue is located.

I know the upper bowl Row 1-12 is $54, not sure what the lower is... But if you are looking for a single ticket you would have no problem getting lower bowl tickets for pretty much all of the games a day or two before the game.

Yeppers... you will remember during the whole nobody is showing up for games late into season and during the playoffs, I kept offering up my tickets to all of them... no takers then... thats why I don't stand for the discussions about "I can't go to games!!!! Corporations!!!!!" People just don't want to spend their own money when the opportunity arises... Not that I blame them, I too, am not buying them.... However, I AM NOT COMPLAINING about the empty seats either... just the prices.

My season tickets offer went by without a buyer (all tickets below face value too boot)... and i know my three other friends at work are also not renewing this seaon that is 8 tickets not being renewed... I go to a few games this season but there is no way I am paying $4794 for a pair of ticket in the upper bowl for the season.

The message I got, was that people were complaining they couldn't read my posts easily and couldn't comment.... Well WTF? I have since had the same amount of replies to my posts since not using the pirate talk (SEPT 19 is only a short time away) as I did when I was natterin' opposite the "cool" people. It is laughable at best... When did I post something thatjust bashed on Crymson and didn't contribute at all to this thread... let alone bashed on him FIRST? ah ohwell... I still believe that Whether feds be called on as defense or just another forward on the point... he will be most beneficial to our team... I called Scheides moot because I highly doubt he will be comeing back here before he hang 'em up.... As for Feds, he may play in ohio, but come the end of the season all signs point to him coming back.

Every team had a fest type thing... can't remember schindes ever taking that hardest shot... Perhaps accurate is more schnides boat. But we will never know unless it is actually guaged.. Feds was clocked at over 100MPH ... Scnides while might appear to be fast has yet to be actually clocked... so only assumptions can be made about his shot. perhpas it appears to be faster than it really is? I don't know until someone puts a gun in front of his shot there is no point speculating if his shot is harder than feds.

What are you seemingly thinking I have or will be called out on? My liking of a hockey player... oh s***... bad me.

I guess we will never know 'cause schnides was never an all-star, eh? Schnides had a great shot also... too bad because we no longer have him so his velocity from the point is moot for the wings.
