Mathieu Dandenault... there is a boy who started at Forward and then became a D-man for the rest of his horrible carrer.

Okay i feel much better tossing out 2.5 mill now... 4 was getting to the F$%K NO stage on the Panic Meter.

He is an option that the wings org is looking into getting. Because they can see past the hatred filled "scorned lover" syndroms of the past from some on here and still make decisions which will help the organization in some key areas. I am pushing for Sergei because I like him yes... But just because he is a former wing... Hardly... He did so much more for this team than almost ANY body on our current roster Thats right... he did MORE for this team than almost everyone on our current roster.

Correct! Fedorov a shot harder http://www.nhl.com/intheslot/read/features...shot102903.html

How much are we thinking he is going to be coming here? I mean 4 million for Aves.... I think NOT! That is HUGE overpayment for his style of play. I would rather use the 4 million and take a risk on forsberg. Drake will already agitate and score for his $550,000.00

Now I am just grasping at straws here... but most likely it was becuase he was better and could do more for the team as a forward. It doesn't hurt that he is stellar on Defense, but he is spectacular with the puck on forward. He is a natural forward with great defensive minded abilities. Forwards appear on the the points all the time... Sammy while being a forward back there is the straw that broke the camels back. Normally a forward on the point during the PP supplies a little bit of skills back there and help move the puck around and get some plays set up. I am not knowing if feds would be willing to play full-time D (its not ego, its not his natural position) Dandenault was a rare example where a forward turned D-man for longer than a few games. I am think that Sergei would become one of our better forwards and if needed could fill in very nicely as a borrow-type defenseman... which would add a solid player back there in case we have another Kroner-Schnider type fiasco again in the playoffs.

Aves had the worst attitude of any of the players I have met during a signing... however I am not holding that against him especially after he was super nice after the kings game at the joe when I managed to meet him and Roenick together... I would surely take him back... his mouth is 2nd on only my boy Roenicks and if I can't have one, I will take the other

Thanks! Both were actually wedding presents from Sergei Fedorov via his publicist as he was in Russia and not able to make it back in time... So all in all it pays to invite some celebs to your wedding That is my most favorite memorablia that I have in my posession right now.

I just cancelled VONAGE!!!! yay... I am free from their controls and my internet will remain stable Now if only I can find something to boost my Cell phone antenna in our house..... ANY SUGGESTIONS? or things you have bought or used? Yer goin' t' feel that in th' mornin'

I would not mind Forsie on our team... although since the option of either him or sergei is always posed.... I would still take sergei over him.
-
Well his productions... both in goals and overall points last season puts him sitting pretty as Top 6 on our entire team... And he didn't even have the benefit of playing for a winning team. Actual he was top 60 for centers last year, 1 point behind Modano and 9 points behind the much coveted Horcoff. Pretty fine for once again playing on a losing team last season. Not to mention only two(2) wings were above him... one (dats) currently on the wings. Making him a capable 2nd line center for us I'll take that.

I just got back from Wolf Lake and I am I am lobsterized! Off t' sleep though now... sun makes ye tired! Oh I saw a boat at the sand bar flying ye pirate colors!!!!! Pretty sweet, but I forgot my camera on shore If I ever had a boat I would paint it completely black and have the white skull and cross bones on each side... Wicked sweet

Lil' Ja carring the puck by his lonesome up the center of the defensive zone with Selanne whispering sweet nothings in his ear!
-
Spot On! I wonder if Penner is going to get hatred from the Ducks when he goes to the Oils... he chose to leave there as well for a HELLUVA lot more money.
-
Wait till next season... you will see plenty of players on other teams being covetted by many on here placing them unrightfully in the HIGH AND MIGHTY THROWN OF HONOR AND LUST.... Smyth was so last season... next season hold still many secrets
-
His salary is from a previous contract... I am sure he will be taking a pay cut to play next year... and he may even take a "previous wing" discount to come back to his NHL roots.
-
Might not but our chances of another haven't looked as promising since he left either!

hmmm tisnf.... brb *walks away...talking in back ground* idk my bff jill knows ask her I know not why.... arrgh poppets are confusing.

Ghost Adventures on Sci-Fi ROCKS!

I think Feds would help us out more all around... How is Smyth defensively (or is he all offense minded)... and to boot there is no chance to get Smyth (i do feel he is a tad overrated from what I have seen of him) but there is a very good chance that we would get Fedorov. Selanne is also a possiblity, but I would choose Feds over both of them.
-
Perhaps... but when Homer was out for any length of time this last playoffs... he were truely hurting for goals. Perhaps holmer also sparks Z and dats to perform? and perhaps he allows the two of them to be all-stars? I was the last to admit how valuable Holmer was to the team... but seeing his absence for any length of time in the post season showed me how wrong I was about his contributions to the team.
-
Considering Selenne keeps threatenin' to retire... I would take Sergei.... Consider I don't like Smyth... I would take Sergei. PP sucked (sammy "firing blanks" was on the point) ... Puts feds back there and we might have scored on some of those 5-3.
-
Feds isn't just a center... playing with nash and zherdev he was on the wings... as well as played on the wings a lot for the wing if I remember correctly. His more a Forward than a specific forward... all around ability is better than a one dimensional or positional player I am not sure why the burdon of proof lies strictly with the supporters (other than you are not one so that is what you want) but I say the fact that he continues to provide his defensive skill on other teams is a sure fire sign he is doing something right!
-
Considering you can't remember anything bad he did... I would say he did quite well... Bad moves are the ones that get brought up the most on here... Feds held his own.... 2 selke's demonstrates to me that he is More than capable to own up to defensive position stints and he did that just fine, when called on.
