Spending money on getting a quality forward to score in the Playoffs as well as a MORE than capable d-man if they go down yet again... yeah I would say it is money well spent.

based on I have watched Feds continue to play excellent D and more recently exclusively play D for the struggle Blue Jackets. I understand you would take Quincy becuase you can't stand Sergei... so you would never pic sergei at all... I get that. Sergei is strong on the point (much stronger than a top 6 forward we have now in Sammy)... Getting feds is an improvement in offense and Defense all around.

And he (FEDOROV) is just that...a top 6 forward on any team as well as our team... Bingo Bango issues solved all around. Quantity by far out weighs quality in this statement... or else the loss of Kronner and Schnides would have NOT played a roll in the downfall a few short months ago. Feds is a great defensive player as a forward and very good at playing full on defense. I would take him on the point over many of our current d-men on the team and in the system.

Feds got awesome D skills as well as the ability to still score great goals... he is much more valuable than Points would lead one to believe.

Playing wth nash and zherdev is not really as glamorous as it sounds... They are Horrible linemates... great players but horrible team players. Feds was getting the minutes but how often does Rick or Nik actually GIVEUP the puck to a teammate?

Putting up residential and retail sites will be interesting... the area is still s***ty and the same people living around it. I will just have to see if this idea is any better than keeping the ball park up.

At this stage of the game... I have seen 3 cups in my life, I am more than Content... Now I want a collection of guys on our team that i like and enjoy to watch play on the ice.... Hence, Sergei Fedorov is my pic out of these two... I like Forsberg also, but after meeting and talking to Sergei several time, i like him A LOT more.... not to mention he would BOOST our OFFENSE and DEFENSE... no matter what anybody tends to think. He is still better than all but maybe a 1/2 handfull on our team in BOTH departments.

Not to mention take puck hog nash away from him and give him guys he can have chemistry with... he would thrive once again.

And he has a house in and still a soft spot for Michigan... if given the chance he would come back in a heart beat. if sergei came back even more of his #91 would be once again dominate the Joe... there is still a ton of his jersey on fans at the games.... the Naysayers are just LOUDER is all....
