Thats the kicker... they CAN afford to go, yet they sit on the computer and ***** about it instead of doing anything. Being out of state gives you a loophole to ***** without EVER having to do anything to help the issue you are bitching about. I really don't care if all the out of staters ARE offended and embarrased.... because their inaction isn't going to do a damn thing to help out anyways... nor do they have ANY intention of doing anything other than "feeling" offended or embarrassed. Oh well, life goes on, only 8-12 more games and then the issue is moot. BTW... I do wonder since the lack of attendance is being hailed "as people not supporting the wings in detroit" if that will affect a possible championship parade down woodward? My guess is no, the fans are still here in MASS numbers, we just don't feel that the benefits given to us at the games (a white wavy towel in which I have too many to count now and 2-1/2 hours of hockey) really equal the cost to go to the game. Judging by the biased Media I would have to say about 200 people will show up (about the total in attendance at TB's parade) since we really don't care in detroit anyways.

The only difference the person in office now has no idea what to do to get the state turned around. Nothing is remotely looking up. We are still losing more business (out side of just the auto industry) than we are gaining. Nobody wants to invest any new business in Michigan. Sure this would have happened to anyone involved... however, its the inability of the current braintrust to stop the bleeding that is most disheartening.

I want to say the same or if not very close.... although, Obviously they didn't make it close to these round And with those positives on a resume... let's re-hire the ***** running the joint! I can say one thing, Michiganders voting her back in are as clueless as those who gave Kwamee the re-elect status. Ugh

Thats the thing none of you are getting... Its not that we are lazy and don't WANT to work in Michigan. COMPANIES ARE LEAVING THE STATE... Leaving us UNEMPLOYED. Many would kill for the chance at working a 40 hour week LET ALONE overtime (I would even say as many as 7.1% which are unemployed and many more stuck in part time jobs). I used to work 70hours a week in the Automotive design field... HOWEVER, circumstances (automotive industry decline <--- the BIGGEST industry in michigan, mind you) has caused my company to cancel ALL OVERTIME. So don't start judging us about not wanting to work 70 hours... There is a HUGE difference between WANTING to and being ABLE to. Come to Michigan, you WON'T make that much here, I guarantee you! Thats like going to Russia and bitching because the people can't afford 20 rubles to see Lenon's tomb. If you aren't earning your salary in Michigan, you can't judge us for not being able to afford michigan's Ticket prices. It's pretty easy to say when you are single and 19 without a family to support... You really can't just uproot and move on a dime... Real family life just doesn't work like that. MANY other factors are involved Yep...get 'em now... In three weeks they will be $500 Well you got a bumb deal on your car then... And you HEARD that this stuff happens? you haven't experienced this stuff and you are basing your arguement on Hearsay? Nevermind that, you heard these things and YOU STILL BOUGHT the car? hmm, odd. It goes way beyond quality issues... Gas prices, our state government allowing work to get shipped overseas... and I hate to break it to everyone... Not a single car is 100% US made anymore. Major parts of all cars are assembled overseas and shipped back to the US for final placement in the cars. The big selling point now is Fuel Efficient hybrid cars... they don't build themselves overnight. It takes a bit to get them into the mass population. And don't think for a second the prices of these cars will be anywhere near the current prices.... All prices will go up.

Its all relative to the amount of money you make.. I guarantee that if you were to move to Michigan you probablly wouldn't be making NEAR what you are now... Hence the YOU CAN AFFORD and WE CAN'T AFFORD arguements. Spending $135,000 on a car is also nothing out of the ordinary IF you are making millions... Its all relative to your salary... Comparing our in-state tickets to your out of state income is like comparing apples to oranges.

As it has been said before... YOU DON'T live in Detroit.. If you DID, wanting to go to games and financially being able to (unless you are the dude earlier who makes $167,000+ a year) are two different things.

But you are talking about eight(8) games over the ENTIRE SEASON... Hell I could go to the entire NHL season if it was only 8 games.... No matter what price. Hockey season is 41 plus 16 possible in the post... Much harder to religiously sell out a venue for that long. Keep in mind we sold out the entire regular season... just stopped when prices raised....What the main variable that has changed in that time... Price per ticket. A direct cause and effect. I totally see where you are trying to go... however, comparing a short Football season with a hockey season which the post season alone will play more than most football teams will the entire season... is not really the best example. Football is a HUGE sport everywhere, way more than hockey and they have LESS games to have to fill in a season.

Multiply that $100 by 4 ... Add $15 x 4 for parking .... add $20 for pop and pizza x 4 and you are up to what I have spent so far this post season. Hardly the one game you are threatening to go to

I know you said you don't want to sit in the 200's but guess what... Shockingly THAT IS your price range! These are OVER $300, but well anything less and you are then in the 20ish rows. Those are only 2 rows in front of our season tickets... Pretty sweet view. You should go!

Hell yeah... If I was a ducks fan in Michigan (Lord knows why that would EVER happen) then you better beleive I would jump at the chance to get tickets to the game.... Since they are limited engagements..... Doing that over and over up to 16 games over the 4 rounds, with each round getting vastly over priced.... Yeah right.... Money just isn't there.

It's $99 actually.... and what is stopping you from getting a ticket? Tickets are available... You can buy your own and I already have bought my own. You go during the regular season CONVIENTLY when ticket prices are 250% lower... Come and get 'em.... good seats still available. I've gone to 15+ games a season plus playoffs... Your point? I have been to 3 post season games already... you gotta catch up or shut up

Exactly... we are watching... just not caring to attend in person at the price they are requesting. I get much more enjoyment spending time with dear ol' couch and Mr. Molson... than I would dropping $200 to see the wings at the JLA w/o any such comforts.
