How are we off topic? Anyways... Wanting somebody to be able to carry the puck 50ft or else getting put on 4th line... Thats impossible... NHL doesn't allow for an entire team to be on the 4th line. Nobody on the team is standing out as a superstar right now... The team is winning games because they have spurts where they remember how to play a team game and then dominate.

Comparing players injuries unless the exact same... is not really the best example... there are too many variables involved and injuries affect players all differently. Having just pulled my back out in a game.... I would have to say that is enough to make me think twice about going into the corners my first game back... I can only imagine what having back surgery would do. Perhaps he is not at 100%... maybe that is why he isn't looking good. He was starting to hit his groove right before He tried to take on the powerful Oz, who unfortuantly concussed the poor man. Perhaps if Big Bert could take a full season off after his Concussion like Timmy got to do he to would be playing better right now.

He has played on 16 games since missing 5 months.... Get back to me when his game totals hit up near a full hockey season, like many of the others he is playing with and against. This topic has grown so tiresome. If we wanted a gamebreaker for the playoffs at the trade deadline... WHOOOPS the uppers dropped the ball becuase there was NO WAY he could become that. He still didn't play for a month AFTER we got him. He was seriously hurt... it takes longer than 16 games to get back into the swing of thing after missing almost a 1/2 calendar year. We all knew that when we got him... if you didn't and are shocked at the rust he is showing... then there is another WHOOPS, your bad... This is reality not fantasy.

The last two games I have been to this post season a 'puss has been tossed onto the ice... Wrap it in a bag, make damn sure you have nothing metal that may attract attention to you going through the metal detectors and put that thing down your pants. When you choose to toss it the people run down the stairs and hurl it onto the ice. They (security from here on out in this post ) will allow you a few moments to do a little gig, taunt the oppsoing team and receive your standing O from the crowd. But they are watching and as you make your way up the row, you will be kindly greeted by , large, guys in black suits... Ilitch's personal Homeboys actually. They will kindly escorte you into the concourse and on your way... Whether that is to the outside or back to your seat, or to Ilitch's suite I can not comment. But they do confront you... I have seen this action EVERY time this the Octopus was thrown on the ice.... Good Luck though!

As you have said, they have been unchallenged so far.... I don't see them holding up against a team giving them quality competition... With that said... Whoever wins our series will be able to destroy them. THats my story and I am sticking to it.

Not that I disaggree or anything just confused... Its class section 101... do we throw the smuggler on the ice as well. Instructions don't really indicate you take the shark off the back of the smuggler before the sharkie is hurled unto the ice. At the joe definitly NOT a blind eye. Sure they let you do a little jig and raise your arms, taunt the other team.... BUT at the top of the stairs you will the black suits gathering to kindly help you continue your journey to the abyss... I don't know if they kick you out right there, take you to a dark room and beat you, take you to a dark room and congratulate you or let you go back to your seats... All I know is security most definetly gets you.... I have never tried because my $144 are very precious to me...

Game was only on Versus everywhere... Envoked exclusive rights for that game...Good game to pick in hindsight We got treated to a blast from the past with Dave Strader.... I loved it when he was with the wings, he always reminds me of the TV voice of the wings.!

The same can be said for Ozzie as he didn't come close to 40 GP (unless goaltenders get a different amount of games in the reg season) I believe the coaches can petition the league for the a players name to be added... sort of like an exception. I must admit.. Dommie had a great game last night. Thats all I can say about that now... Time to go figure out why all the lang bashers turned into lang lovers over one goal. Anyways... Dom need to keep up keeping the pucks out and we got this one.

Possibly next round we should expect to see dead ducks being heaved out on the ice.

He is out there shooting pucks during warmups.... At least he was for Game 1 round 2.... I actually thought he might play in game 1 but alas he did not. He seems ready to play. While I wouldn't mind Huddle out there... he did get tossed around pretty violently (some legal and some illegaly) The big boys on the sharks use him as their rag doll toy.

I was playing the PS2 game, "Bully" and while you are kicking peoples asses other bullies come at you yelling, "ARE YOU READY FOR THE PAIN TRAIN" I think of Lil' Ja all the time
