It was moreso in his eye's when Johnny asked him if he was alright after limping a bit around the locker room. Also, he didn't look like his normal skating self when trying to race down a SJ dump. Lids has been a bit stinky at times.... but even stinky lids is better than most of our D-men.

I refer to this as the Flock mentality. I don't know of a true fan of any player who turns against them because of a bad game or a bad season or whatever... "well i used to like so and so... in fact he used to be my favorite player... but he hasn't scored in 10 games, so he has to go..." They are just following in line with the rest of the flock.... baaaaaaa. Everybody truely knows Christopher Osgood is the true reason we are failing out there.... just nobody wants to say it

Even though possibly more time was spent in the wings end... Nabby has faced 21 (or almost a full games worth) of more rubber than Hasek. I can't agree nor deny that Hasek has had the harder of the saves... the way he plays he makes even the easiest saves look like they were the hardest things in the world... so it is perspective or in the eye of the beholder really. Hasek may have far more work to do just in the sheer fact that by constantly going behind the net (even in the most unopportune times) he creates himself more work than needed. It is obvious now in this series we need Hasek to step-up, shut the door completely. Sure he has given the team a chance, but now he has to Win the game for them. You'll get my drift without actually saying anything, right?

Thanks for your keen observations.. lucky you to go the game That pretty much sums up the game I saw too... so its good to have confirmation I was watching the right game last night. I have been saying I expect the Wings to play a full game for some time now.... Maybe tomorrow my wishes will finally be granted. Perhaps the wings should bring back Joe Vision for the 2nd round.... I sure do miss that. It made staying up for the late game rather easy. However, I see the price beeing a 200% markup as well for Joe Vision....

well to be fair the players are really handcuffed as to how much ice time they get and their linemates... those are all the coaches responsibility.

Well luckily for us we have the only player on that list still reaching for the cup this post season.... And why are they so untouchable... because they have guys to kick arse or break some heads if someone does.... I have seen the amount of hits Dats and Zeta have taken decrease since bert has been on the ice... Not to mention he made Phanuef is play toy in the calgary series.... He is a presence out there and it says better not f*@ with our stars.
