Huddles was on his ass the entire game last night.... Even mickey was poking fun at him. Huddles, puck, ass on the ice. He was the whipping boy for the sharkies last night.

The way I see it... Anybody who can skate and accept a pass can shoot the puck... millions of times over, in fact. The only way you gain confidence as a shooter is to break the mold of fruitless shots by getting the biscuit in the basket. Other than that, with each save the goalie makes you are getting more and more down on yourself. Now Quality scoring chances is one thing, but sammy's shots rarely are qualtiy scoring chances. Whats the phrase they always say when a slumpiing goal scorer finally nets one.."Got that moneky off of his back" or something along those lines.

Tomorrow its the good ol' VERSUS only game... I gather some won't be catching this game, which is a damn shame.

I saw him play twice live during the Whalers romp of his Kitchner rangers. He has a helluva hard shot from the point... but much like the rest of his team.. couldn't really muster anything positve in the playoffs. In the OHL, you get massive amounts of penalties for just being on the ice. Seriously, the 10 games I have been to this year are were penalty ridden... We are talking about entire periods of 5-3 hockey for no other reason then a few hooking calls. Seriously it is VERY RARE that the teams play 5 on 5. Most of the penalties are crap calls to boot. I think the Ohl's penalty amounts are not exactly accurate depictions of the players themselves.

Aye! Stay up every game... I have seen the conclusion of every late night Playoff game this season for every late night game.... Just aren't on the 'puter all times when it ends. I could be a member of the LNC... but there is no love coming my way

Dammit... I was so hoping you could bum me say $100,000 or so. Oh well, what can you do Yeah sammy played alright, but I still question the benching of other players to keep him in.

Other than padding the stats and boosting the goalies confidence... what does fruitless shooting really bring to the table? I mean we get 50+ shots a game several times... Blindly shooting isn't always the sign of a good player. He hasn't been successfull at all on the point in the powerplay. he is just happy to be out there.

The effort that has been put on the back burner... NEEDS to come to the forefront and STAY in the forefront. We can ill afford to allow the game play like the last 50 mins of game 1, first 5 mins of game 2 and last 30 mins of 3 to take a drivers seat roll. The wings have to muster the strength to play dominant for the entire game. We have already had our brain farting errors... no more can be allowed. We need to play responsible hockey from hear on out. Next round our slate gets cleaned.... we just have to make it there. They sure did :battle:

And back to the actual thread topic..... He brings nothing that any other player can't bring if given his ice time... The way he plays is a dime a dozen... There are 10 more ready to take his place... So he brings nothing unique to the wings.

Unfortuantly for detroit 2 more of those games in this series and the axe falls on dom like it has on so many in the past... Our Uppers management fits the definition as Noob also, becuase they are the ones that consistently replace the goaltender to try to solve our lack of goal output past April 8th.
