I think it is more than fair to expect more out of a superstar player on our team than a 3rd and 4th liner personally. And don't mention the salary difference.. because we all know had Zeta's agent not been a tool he would be getting paid way more than Lang. I will copy and paste the info... once you copy and paste where I accused you of saying Lang lost us the game
-
you complain about Lang being lackluster and really hurting us and yet you continue to put Zetterberg (most amount of shots on the team WITHOUT a point) out there on the first line with NO PRODUCTION whatsoever in these past three games? But alas its Lang so its okay to pin EVERYTHING going wrong on him. Hell, it's actually sort of refreashing to see that one player getting blamed for the bad play is not the GOALTENDER so far this year! It's nice to see fans actually scapegoating another player besides the Goalie... it really is.
-
When did they play it? I don't remember hearing it at all? Maybe it perhaps I have selected hearing and it filters out Kiss
-
Yeah, so has Zetterberg.... what can you do? Babs does a really s***TY job with lines... he is stubborn and doesn't like to fix what is obviously NOT working for the team.
-
These haters must also hate... Zetterberg... I mean Lang has more point than him and lang doesn't even get the priviledge of playing on the first line. Give all this Lang sucks crap a rest. You all focus so much anger on certain players and give free rides to others who are producing less than they should be 3 games into the post season.

I haven't heard that song played at the joe in ages. I know they come out to My Chemical Romance's, "Black Parade" for one of the periods... It jumps around. When I first heard it a the joe it was for their enterance for the 1st period.

Actually I am implying the opposite... Lang performed quite nicely with Huddles as his pairing... not so much when seperated. If Huddles can play with anybody and Lang plays much better with Huddles... Wouldn't it only be common sense to play to the strengths of TWO players instead of just one?
-
Or well the fans actually abide by the request to wear RED to the games.... I did my part in games 1 and 2 but so many others still had suits, short skirts or white jerseys on. Not to mention The RED WAVE promotion was printed on WHITE towels. I dunno... Calgary definitely has the fans backing their red out quite nicely.

never thought I would say this, but Bert should NOT be dressed for game 4. He isn't healthy and looked far from it last night. Sure the arguement will be, "but he is physical and we need that against the flames"... My rebutal would be, "was he 'really' all that physical last night? was he at all effective? I saw Clear and Dats throw their frames around more than big Bert!" He need to get healthy before he plays again... plain and simple.

Wasn't hudles getting a majority of his points while being a line mate of Lang? If my recollection is correct, than wouldn't benching Lang to bring up Hudles rather moot? Sammy should be the logical decision... But I do see why babs is drawn to him... That 5point last regular season game... was damn impressive and worthy of many minutes in the post season.

Well from what I have seen live and in person games 1 and 2 and from the TV in game 3... I must say neither Bert nor Zetterberg are playing at all at 100%. Zeta is starting to get his game legs back but he still lacks puck and shot control skills that he had before the injury. At this point in time I really don't think we should be using Zeta as much as we do out there. Not until he gets closer to 100%. He looking less sluggish now than he did in his first game back... but evidenced by his flub play from Lids (equally as guilty) which lead to the tying goal... he is not the Zeta of old. Before the injury he accepts the pass, no matter if it was behind, above, in front of, or below him and the goal is avoided. If we use them less and play the players actually producing or leading to goals (i.e. do not bench hudler when his play is actually leading to goals). I am not in panic mode yet, but 2nd period of game 2 and the entire game 3 play was FAR LESS than impressive, and not at all series winning.

I am not in panic mode yet, but 2nd period of game 2 and the entire game 3 play was FAR LESS than impressive, and not at all series winning. Babs needs not to bench players who play directly leads to goals. Calling Mr. Dumbass! Are you there?

Never would I expect them to roll over and die... That would be stupid. However, I would expect them to go out and get extinguished.
-
Thats exactly what I was saying... I would take late games as opposed to games (ala Tigers) during the work day... any day!
-
I will be here in spirit... Yeah I am part of the late night crew by staying up only... I am waiting for the BEAT DOWN by offsides to take over the computer during the game. BRING IT, GiRL!
-
I will be getting a sweet Avatar soon (i hope) to boot! She does great work
-
Hands down Vladdy
-
as hard as these late games are for us... I would take them any day over games starting at 4pm. I would still be at work every time an east coast game would be on
-
And if by seperating them you mean... Benching Sammy.... I am all for that
-
If its any consolation for you... They are playing us with out a 100% "a" gamed Zetterberg. He is getting to his stride, but hasn't found it yet. and they are playing us without our enforcer in Bertuzzi.... All is fair from the way I see it.
-
That is nice... However, I really didn't even know he was in game 2 for a bit... until I got home and heard so...
-
Guaranteed... Or is Cheli not playing

Unfortuantly while performing a wrap around, the skater by his own admission is lowering his stance and thus making a legal shoulder to shoulder hit more like a shoulder to head hit. The player on the other end of the hit is equally not using his head at that moment in time... he is trying to score... Both are at fault in this case. Just as the person lining him up should have "respect" the player with the puck should use their brain. He won't go untouched and it is silly to think othewise.
-
I agree... A player is coming in on the goalie (or for a wrap around) .... Oh no don't touch him, by all means sir... you got in position for a wrap around.... go ahead and score... you deserve it! Please.... If the dude is in scoring position you nullify him by knocking his arse on the ice. Don't want to get hit... don't try wrap around and keep your head up. Otherwise... Game on!

Making him the worst coach for the wings since Dave Lewis. Com' on babs, pull your head out of your ass and sit the person not adding anything anything more than fruitless shots on goal.
