Back to back in the playoffs... they are as rare as a shoot out to end the game in the playoffs. Except for an Act of god, they sechdule is usually every other game for teams.

Ah so I have YOU to blame for my Fantasy Hockey team missing one other its' star players J/king Ohwell I am still leading in the Finals... It's all good. Much like the Wings my fantasy team has learned how to pick up the slack for a fallen star GO WINGS GO OZZIE!

Would it be so wrong to say.... the red wing that drives me the most nutz is the Fans themselves? Thats my answers and I am sticking with it. All I can say is come the playoffs I will be very happy that the Uppers didn't heed the fans call for Langs head... as he is one of the few the gets points in the post season for us and is a bright spot in the dark cloud of recent playoffs.

Got back about 40mins ago... Helluva game 7-1. Sesito recorded the Hat trick and the whalers put up 58 shots. Great game, up in the series 3-0. Game 4 on Thursday!

That would be quite nice if the two team could meet in the playoffs! I meant to go to a Spirit game but I just didn't have the time. However, it might get exciting to take quick jaunt up there if the Whalers play them

We do play columbus twice more... they are always good for shootouts! I have been to 4 columbus games in the past 2 years and 3 of them were shoot outs

Filippula was used in the shootout where Berts first made the appearance... he missed the net entirely on a weak shot, so that wasn't that big of a deal, Bert was helluva lot closer to scoring than Filp was. I was upset that Huddles did not go instead Sammy offered up his impressive knack to be uneffective during a 1 on 1 with the goalie.

On normal teams, guys like Bert are in your Top 5 if not Top 3 best on the team.... Those are the ones you put in the Shoot Out. Guys like Sammy have no business (and showed it) being in the shoot out.

I missed a portion of the mic'd session leading up to Snides saying something about them (ducks) being "duck Ice" WTF, what did I miss? It was when he was mic'd during warmups and it was at Center Ice.

Actually that is Sammy's right hand pulling up on the jersey, not Markov. Dany would have to bend at an obscene angle to get that pose... and he (markov) doesn't look uncomfortable at all

And according the article dated March 7th... Public sales are TBD. In years past they wait up until like the tuesday of the final week (i.e. next Tuesday or Wednesday) to go onsale. The whole wings org is filled with LAST MINUTE notification. We got our Playoff invoices 3 days before they were due and got our skate at the Joe tickets 1 day before we had to show up.

I expect that every night... hopefully tonight will be the night they FINALLY meet my expectations! GO WINGS! GO OZZIE!

He has been out for over a month now AND for the rest of the season.... so he does have a lot of spare time on his hands. Could very well be him.

How do I feel??? We need someone out there to protect our stars... While Holms is nice infront of the net he doesn't have the stick up for teammates ability. Berts will provide the physical play AND the ability to screen

The problem I saw with play... which ultimately allowed for the call to go either way was the location of his pads. In your example as well as Mickey and Ken talking on the TV, in that case the entire glove was behind the net... one could only logically conclude if the puck was in there it had to be behind the line. In todays case... had Bash(hell with spelling the rest of his name)'s pads been entirely behind the line... I mean there was a white gap between the front edge of his pads and the goal line then the only logical conclusion was the puck to be in. Since there was not a gap and there was a section of his pads that was in front of the line, the call was allowed to go the way it did. It sucks and I do deep down feel it was a goal... but here we have the stupid grey area. The wings should have never gone to overtime... nor been down by two so damn early!

Good God... I hope she is not a dude! Maybe red-wing like isn't the exact word... Classless is more along the lines... Coined Hockeytown, one would imagine we would have a little higher class or standards than all the other teams like the Chicago's of the league and such. I still hold that Vyborny was right on with his assesment about our fans. We should no longer comment on the fans of other orgs because to justify what we do, we put ourselves on their level... So and so does it, so its alright. Many Red Wings fans at the games and watching elsewhere are classless. Relentless booing of certain key players in Red Wings history just glorifies that assesment.

We have the $54 tickets (row 11, upperbowl)... here was our price breakdown: $103.50 for Round 1 and 2 (about a 191.7% markup) $158 for Round 3 (about a 292.6% markup) $270 for Round 4 (about a 500% markup) Basically for the entire Playoffs we would pay, $5,110.00 (not to mention the $30 in handling fees for us season ticket holders) There you have it applying those markups to the $22 season (cheapest normally) you get: Round 1 and 2: $42 Round 3: $64 Round4: $110. Hope that is about accurate and helps.

NYI's... Really enjoyed watching the team when Ozzie was there and just kept on watching. I am getting more and more into Atlanta though as I am trying to move down there to get out of this hell hole we call the Michigan Economy!
