I always have a blast watching the boo after is pretty much off the ice... the fans that boo him are pretty clueless when he is actually on the ice (or mentally slow) and don't start until he is about to go off... ha yeah its fun!

wouldn't all those saying just do it feel awesome if something happened off the ice with dats nullifying him for the season ... LoL oh well i don't watch these things anyways... better hockey is at Compuware and WFCU Centre in Windsor this weekend

I am not sure how painful hip flexors are... but flying and then staying in someone elses bed and having to be active on it for 2 days doesn't sound that pleasant nor beneficial to recovery.

Thats exactly why i said Crosby was a dumb ass (youth go figure) to even bow to bettys demands.. like he would even suspend him for this... He barely touches Pronger for a lot worse.

Can i ask why you even care if is he is there... Do you have ticket or something... or a member of the press that would get to shake his hands? Newsflash to all involved... there are more fans here in Metro detroit that wouldnt mind getting to meet pavs this weekend then everyone combined in hab land... maybe betty could have put dats and lids under state arrest or something.... let him do commmunity service to a community that actually wanted him to be there?

I would be more wiling to push myself (and chance further injury by doing so) for a real game than a fake one... the all-star game means NOTHING!!!!!!!!! We need POINTS to catch the guppies... how many do we get for a win in the All-star game... refreash my memory

Having a hipflexor injury putting you out of last period or so of your last game doesn't sound like joys of joys flying in a plane to god aweful BFE canada... and then having to sit (or stand) around for the press to take pictures of you....

I don't think its just the all-star game... never before in my life have i ever seen so many players getting injured day in and day out... Players are bigger, equipment is manufactured better... it isn't all-star game causing the mass injuries... its coincidence and evolution...

Sooooo betty is punishing Dats and Lids for skipping out on a "fan based" weekend.. yet by doing that he is punishing the fans in Columbus of both the Wings (those making the short trip down there) and the fans in columbus by not allowing 2 of the biggest names in hockey to play in a "real" game... Doesn't that seem odd and not well thought out?

They spend the weekend signing autographs for the actual fans that put their ass in the seats in their home arean allowing them to get paid... if they are forced to do "community service" by the NHL. Montreal means nothing to us... I blame CANADA!!!

Rock and Roll Pt.2 is my favorite song eva!!!!! Priests fondled little boys all the time and yet people still cram in those places of worship.... I will like that song regardless of the person who originally wrote it.. its one of the most noticeable arena songs of all time! I am not denying Rape is wrong or even a horrible thing... all i am saying is you don't have to respect him as a person to appreciate a product they put out there for the masses.

had to be made with in the last 360 days then... Cause that didn't stop brodeur from playing game before and game after AND missing the ASG due to wanting to rest...... last year!!!!

Marty Broduer didn't go last year because he wanted a rest... he was suited up in the Red/Black/White the very next game.... yeah but the same with avery... there is a first for every suspension i guess. Leave it to the Lady Byng and Norris winners to set this precedence.... lmao
