Everyone so depressed about Tuesdays game that they forgot the season is in fact NOT OVER?! there is a game tonight folks... Lets get it on! :::EDIT::: pooey... i forgot to change the date to 11/13

Yeah pretty much the same as what happend at the Joe on tuesday... Pens fans over took the wings fans luckily we were able to cover up the LETS GO PENS rather quick with throwing out the LETS GO WINGS. I was impressed with all the pens fans making the trip on a tuesday night.

I think the biggest deal here is that they are not competitors so really there is no need for anyone to push the issue... now if the NHL decided to start making socks and selling them then they might have a reason to bring up a suit in court. As it stands, one is a Hockey team one is a sock company... neither is going to take away from the others business. My gf was telling me about something happening in East Lansing with Papa Johns where an older company already had the name... they were sued and allowed in court to keep operating under the same name as the retail chain Papa Johns. If what Casey said is right, they had their wings before the Red Wings did.

Funny you mention that name... I was calling Zeta Jesus all night because the guy a few seats down kept yelling JUDAS JUDAS to Hossa every time he stepped on the ice. I figured since we had Judas and Satan on the ice at the same time... might as well dub someone Jesus as well. But thinking back Judas and Jesus were together at first... so maybe Crosby should have been jesus... idk it was funny as hell though. "you can't fault Judas for leaving dude... he just wants to win the cup!"

Fyi... Fleury pounded on the ice once, the other times on the PP the stoppage of play was like seconds before the end of the penalty at it always seemed to be in PP's team zone so their wasn't a chance to pound on the ice by either the goalie or the team.

So like we should only be really voting for like say Hossa and few others... cause a majority of them on the ballots are playing jr. level hockey right now... no where near deserving of the All-star game... but this is where the popularity contest will win out.

I have thought that a few games i have watched on tv... but seeing him live up close and personal last game i was feeling really bad for the guy... He was missing passes, not accepting passes, not holding it in at the point, looking very off balance at time behind the play (aka not seen by folks on tv), missing key assignment in front of the net allowing for horrible scoring chances and was clearly getting beat senseless by players going along the boards. My dad who has liked lidstrom for his entire career was even commenting on how out of it he appears. Like Edicus said... his play is fine for an NHL player... but for a Norris Candiate he should be playing leaps and bounds better. You wont hear this often from me but Lilja was look more reliable out there than the captain. If he wasn't a seasoned vet on the ice i would almost say he looks neverous and unsure of his play like a n00b.

Meh its a good thing like this game... game 5 didn't mean squat in the grand scheme of the season... we still got our cup without the win in game 5... it just gave us 60more mins of hockey to get to watch!

well of course they won't stop there... because that only gets us out of the "pre-season" they still have to go 16 and 0! But then they will ***** about the height that the captain raised the cup up over his head... OMG was it high enough??? who knows?!

I thought the pens/wings game was amazing. I loved all the scoring! Being there made it even more exciting. Its ONE LOSS get over it already!

LOL what? why should we? We wear the gear in the car to the over priced parking spot....to enter in to the over priced games and then munch on overpriced snacks all while watching the overpriced games.... I pretty much stayed away from this thread after I got back from the game.. i am not even reading it... i heard enough of the moronic comments in person last night to satisfy me... so i will just say 13 effing goals?!?!?! that was a sweet! who cares if we lost its the freaking 2nd month of the long long long season... that was fun as hell to watch kept you (or at least some) in their seats all game long. I wonder if Malkin will have enough gas left in his tank to compete in the final minutes of the first period. PS... super excited the Oz man is in net tonight... Albeit i saw him for all the playoff games but its a treat for reg season games now

I will keep a close eye on the goalies tonight and see whats up with the pens and how they do it
