Whalers get s*** coverage in Detroit... Wonder how many people even knew they won the Championship last year and then went 4 and out this year? The only chance (and I stress chance) at seeing a game on TV is if you have comcrap...other than that no way will you get to see a game. If you want to catch a road game you have to purchase an online ticket to see the games (go over to a billets house) or go to Ginnapolis to watch whaler vision. Luckily I have connections so my family gets season tickets to the games... other than that you can't follow them. Maybe a few write ups in the Canton Observer as well but those are spotty at best. I catch more OSU and ND hockey games on tv than I do U-M or MSU... sad! The coverage for College Football outside of U-M and MSU is s*** as well for detroit... Hell I went to EMU... didn't even know they had a football team (sarcasm but seriously if you didn't have to go to the convocation center for graduation, I doubt some people would even have a clue....they are promoted at all. As for HS sports...this ain't no Varsity Blues type town... We could care less about our HS sports

I dont have sound at work so I basically just stared at a greyhound bus with the words "drama" on the screen After being on an Amtrak for 13 hours this past weekend... I am glad i heard about this after I was done riding it! We only had one problem with a overly intoxicated man which made us have a prolonged stop in Niles Michigan while we waited for the authorities to escort him off the train. it wasn't before he punched several people in the face trying to steady himself to the bathroom (train wasn't moving but he was surely walking like it was lol) and then proceed to unload all the booze and whatever else was in his stomach on the poor lady in the front of our car (down wind thank god!) Oh yeah!

Detroit does suck, its only as good as its moronic leader... the hockey team that plays there, not so much!

They make millions and have a million dollar homes and expensive cars...I make thousands and have a few thousand dollar home and a not so expensive cars... Sure he/they make a ton more than the regular joe/josephine shmos out there but it really is all realtive. No matter how much they make people all can have the same "issues" arrive that bury them.... some like in this case on a much bigger level. Its very easy to critize or judge someones with a lifestyle that you can only reach in your wildest dreams.... (you is general by the way...not at you really) I am not saying that he wasn't irresponsible but i am also not saying that just because he is a "fallen" millionare doesn't mean he has a lack of character.... People assumed he bought his house(s) and cars with cash... obviously he got loans for something, perhaps maybe he didn't always pay cash for everything? And yes for all those who say if you don't have cash you don't buy it... I am glad you are enjoying your Lease/Finance free care and your morgage free home... it must be nice... for the rest of us payig cash isn't always a fiesible option.

I updated my post after you replied... to say, I am sure he had his reasons... don't we all have our reasons... whether it be foreclosing on your house or credit card debt... there is always a reason behind it.

Okay so talking about the late payment fees of outrageous amounts and then the relentless over limit fees (well not in the case of loans but with credit cards and they still deal with banks) and despite the joys of a low priced FIXED loan rate... that is not the case when you miss a payment... they can jack it up to loan sharking rates.... Fixed is nice when you are making payments on time... but because it says fixed doesn't mean it stays fixed His or anyone elses personal financial s*** doesn't need to be aired in public... this is between him, the bank and now the judge and attorneys. case and point. Or better yet being discussed at length on a hockey board... regardless of it being off season or what. Fedorov does not need anyones support he can get himself out of the hole he dug himself into just like many of the rest of us have (many who I bet have a similar income/debt ratio just not willing to make it public on a hockey forum).
