I would like to say we as fans did more... I mean we (well a few on here) paid out of our asses to attend games just to be ripped apart by those not in attendance across the world. I think fans play a huge part in helping the team ergo, there is a sense of "we" Sure we didn't skate on the ice during a game but we sure as hell helped pay a fraction of the paycheck and if "we" weren't important why not just play to an empty arena and post the results on the web... "we" as fans are important and despite what other say, "we" are an indirect part of this red wings team.

I agree 100% Its like having to choose between Curling and that Cagefighting... not many people are a fan of both.. and if they happen to be, they hop between the two... anyways doesn't the Pistons games get reaired late at night?

All styles of jerseys; Nike, CCM, Reebok, Edge all have nameplates on them depending on where you get them from... Personally i always ask up front, because Wings Jerseys with a nameplate are Incorrect as thats is not what they players wear for the Wings. I have every style and every make jerseys of the wings and none have the nameplate ( personally find it tacky and as a collector... i want it correct) The Edge ones $139ish do not have the nameplate if you order for the correct company... i would ask up front before you give them your credit card. So the nameplate is company determined NOT jersey specific

I almost chocked when he was on the breakaway.... Since when does sammy actually MISS the net???? I mean seriously chest bursting is his specialty... for the love of god, you hit the goalie at least when you are on the breakaway. That made me laugh so hard though when he did it...of all the people to miss then net, wouldn't have guessed it would be him As for the OP... Damn you are lucky to have traded him away... damn lucky!

Wait... what game 5 did you watch? The wings didn't show put at all... Game 5 was the one game this playoffs that looked like they were from the 80's... Turco was on only because we didn't attempt to give him any hard shots. What did we have like 3 quality scoring chances out of the 39 shots. I respectfully disagree game 5 was a piss poor effort by the wings and disappoint to have to spend money on to see it live.

Awesome Izzy! I bought a Maltby Synergy at the joe for $60... Best investment i ever made hockey wise... Everyone thought i was nutz using it in the game because it was game used by Malts. But I say 1/2 the normal price ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! scored goals in bunches until it finally broke

Ah... i didnt realize the Oh was for Ohio (i was just thiking you were say "Ohhh the summer... ie higher gas prices) OOPSY.... now i got you... it seemed to obvious of an answer! well at least you were able to still use the math data to figure it out. I couldn't understand how at 17miles away this was even being brought up... but you are much further. Even if you break even on gas... you still have food and lodging too... so its actually still way more worth it drive back. If games 5 and 7 were played within 3 days i would say go for it and stay (i.e. 1&2 or 3&4) but just because its 2-2 going into game 5... game 7 is still risky that it will even be needed... making your stay a bit hard to swallow

You are 17 miles away... is the gas really worth spending the week in s***y detroit and not getting paid? You would spend $16 total in Gas (Round trip BOTH games) with the MPG you gave... is $16 worth losing a whole weeks worth of pay AND getting an overpriced hotel room in Detroit for several days? I live 31 miles away... I wouldn't dream of spending a week with no pay for two games ... I drove to and from for Games 1 and 2 of both first and second round. Seems like a no brainer... As another example I work 20miles from my house... Should I pay for a hotel for the week because I would use gas driving home... Now if you were say 2-1/2 hours away then that might be something to thinking of... but Warren? thats like a neighboring city of Detroit! I pass by warren on my way to and from Detroit after each game!

The only way possible is to score more than our team... if not... YOU LOSE

used to be ticketmaster or at the box office.... it never came close to selling out but it was a fun night when it started for $5 then $7 and i think it ended at $10 one thing i miss is those pop up corner shops with wings s***... you used to see them everywhere... now NOTHING!
