I didn't go to the Mac signing. I went to see Kronwall & Ericsson. I don't know how many people went to the Mac signing was but there wasn't very many people for Kronwall and hardly anyone went over to Ericsson. I was in & out within 10 minutes, if even that. What made me mad was I called DC sports a couple times to ask about a picture of Nik with the Stanley Cup and they assured me they'd have a picture. When I got there they had just about everyone else but Nik...they never got a picture of him with the cup in. Luckily I had brought parade pics of both guys. Nik scribbled his name about an quarter of an inch high and in the parade crowd. I still don't understand what that was all about. The picture doesn't look like it was signed. One of the guys that works there told me to be on the lookout for more signings...wouldn't tell me who. A lot of the swedes live by Twelve Oaks though.

For a long time people hated Osgood....myself included. I'm still not a big Osgood fan though I am thrilled at how he played in the playoff's. Lidstrom's number will be retired and I think that will be it until maybe someday Zetterberg. Fedorov probably would have had his retired if he had stuck around.

During the parade at one point she said the Wings fans were the best....trying to do damage control I guess. She just irritates me even before this. Wonder how tall she is....I've notice that even Lidstrom looks up at her when they talk and I believe he's 6'1 or 6'2.

Maybe Schneider is the bad luck LOL. He came to the Wings in 2003 (Sean Avery was one of the players we traded for Schneider). The Wings, the defending Stanley Cup Champions were swept by the Ducks in the first round that year. Now Schneider goes to the Ducks, the defending Stanley Cup Champions and what happened again??

wow, was shocked to see this. I've always like Avery...he's such a bonehead. Really though I've met him a couple times and he was actually very sweet to us. My daughter was very shy with him but he told her not to be afraid of him and talked to her for a bit. Hope he'll be alright. My thoughts are with him.

I didn't know about this before the game last night......if I had I would have brought a stuffed octopus and swung it around during the game. And if I go to another game I will do just that. LOL what would be funny is if somehow dozens of different people brought octopus in and threw them on the ice at once. Sort of an F U to the NHL. heh. I suppose the next thing to be banned will be that we can't cheer for the servicemen like what happened last night. During one of the breaks they showed one of the army guys and the crowd went wild with cheering. (inciting the crowd)? Some of the players were tapping their sticks on the ice. The refs tried to wait for the cheering to stop but it didn't so they finally dropped the puck. Hmmmm, delay of game I suppose.

Detroit vs. Montreal would be so awesome! Not to mention it would probably be great for TV ratings. I'm still hoping that somday I'll see a Detroit/Toronto matchup. Won't hold my breath though.
