I'd love to see Legace go to Vancouver he would probably be the starter and he would have a way better chance to go the finals as the starter then he would here. Not to mention the fact that Bertuzzi takes bad penalties so we would be 2 men down most a game I just hate watching that.And of course an Osgood injury would make the starter Howard and the back up either MacDonald or MacIntyer. Go look around. the majority around here wants to trade Legace for a D Man. Lidstrom for some pick Datsyuk for whoever might be avalible. Basically the logic around here is to trade everyone on the roster for whoever's not on it. In these forums there is no salary cap and trades happen at will. Weather the other team likes it or not. There is not alot of common sense or logic used in the trade rumors section.

This is actually a great idea. If we could clone Datsyuk. and then trade the clones away for. Broduer,Staal,Crosby,Ovechkin,Havlat,Heatley,Bertuzzi, some blue line thugs, Luongo, gritty power forwards and still keep Dats around that would solve all the problems the Wings have. It's looking more and more like Abby is out and Luongo is in. Nobody is sick or hurt the AVS have 3 healthy goalies on the roster. I would guess that Luongo might not make it to Colorado in time for the game after the trade but Abby will be out by next week. Makes Budja the Starter till Luongo gets in town and Kolesnik the backup and tossed back to the AHL when he gets there. The big question is who else is going in that trade? With Luongo at 3.2 mil and Abby at 1.9 mil I'd expect to see Brisbois in a straight up deal Abby and Bris for Luongo unless there might be a 3rd team in the mix.

Most the trade rumors you see aroud here don't take in two important things. 1 common sense and 2 the salary cap. Common sense says that nobody is taking an injured goalie off your hands or for that matter one that had been giving up 6 goals a game. Salary cap dictates it's not even possible under the cap.st But just in case I'm wrong whats Kubina's Save % and GAA? Because with Osgood and Howard in the net we will need him to chip in.
