I was wondering if anyone had a link to the live webcast, like the one from Dallas vs. San Jose's game 6. That would be awesome. I don't have cable & go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch all the Wings' games.

I've always loved hockey. I've played since I was three. My dad was my coach in I-League. He played & all of my uncles played for U of M. Hockey's a family thing & it's always been a part of me. But this was when I decided to make it my life. Jerseys. Collectibles. Stickers & flags on the car. If I didn't have to work, I'd watch every game & do my best to listen to or be updated on the scores if I couldn't get a friend to tape it for me. & playing hockey during the off season just so I don't feel lost during the summer. I love it. & I need it.

Skill wise, in his prime, Hasek was better than Yzerman... But as far as being a hockey player... There will never be a better HOCKEY PLAYER than Steve Yzerman. If you know what I mean, you'll agree. If not, I may sound stupid, but you wouldn't understand. WTF. How/why am I comparing a goalie to a forward?

I can respect this... I just think the rivalry ended when we massacred them 7-0 & left them in the dust.

The Wings & Avs are hardly even & your team will be destroyed. It'll be a fun series & you're welcome to stay here after. Go Wings!

I need to get this off my chest. I'm fully responsible for the Wings losing the past two games. I had a playoff beard going from when we clinched a playoff spot. It was getting mighty mighty. The itching had stopped & it was full grown & I was proud. Right after the first game, I found out I had a job interview for Comcast.. I was happy & sad at the same time. Trying to think of reasons to not shave, such as, "Maybe the interviewer likes the Wings & they'll understand." My girlfriend managed to talk me into shaving. So, We won the second game to take a series lead 2-0 My interview was on the day of Game 3. I relunctly woke up & shaved the entire playoff bear. The game started & I was anxious to see what I had done. It looked like we were in the clear as time ticked down & we had the lead. Now, here we are. Series tied 2-2. & I'm to blame. I have underestimated the Hockey Gods, & may Wings Fans have mercy on my soul.

& I'd be forced to allow it.

The bear WAS pissed. I can't believe I did that. lol Thanks everyone who wished me luck. My friend & I were mulling over who the Thrashers would take for Hossa & about 30 minutes after the conversation ended, he mentioned Cleary & it all made sense. It would break my heart because he's the man, but it makes so much sense. Cleary hasn't re-signed this year becuase he wants $3.9 Million. He's not going to get that here. He deserves it, but it's just not plausible with the cap these days. Obviously, it wouldn't be just Cleary for Hossa. But maybe Cleary and a pick? & it wouldn't be Sundin because he's a rental & Holland said they're only going to make a big move if they can get them signed. Then the Thrashers GM also agreed to let teams talk with Hossa to see if he'd sign... Coincidence? It just makes the most sense. That would be a sad day, but also a very happy day. I guess we'll just wait & see.

What do you think. Could we get the 62 wins? Or the 130+ points? Yesterday, I went to look at the standing to see where we were & I realized, we're AWHOLELOTTA points above the Sens. There's been 54 games played with 28 games remaining. We have 40 wins & 4 overtime losses for 84 points. If we went .500, we're looking at a 14-14 record give or take a few points for overtime losses. That's 28 points for a total of 112 & 54 wins. But we're going to do a lot better than .500. I'm going to predict 20-8. Still doesn't put us over the win total... Christ, that team was good. & we just with 124 points. Hm.. It seemed possible before I actually did that math. I guess the answer is no. Boo. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

Umm... ? You win the game you should be rewarded. You lose, you shouldn't be. All the other professional sports base their standings off win percentage. It makes it easier to follow for the fans. I've loved hockey my whole life & I understand this diehard fan stuff, but I'm pretty sure the other major three are faring a lot better than the NHL & it pisses me off. Now, I'm not saying this is THE reason why the NHL has a poor fanbase, but if knucklehead Gary B wants to gain new fans, this would be a better step in that direction than what he is doing. My ideal situation would be to have continuos overtime through the whole season. It'd be crazy & it'd never happen, but that'd be a TON of hockey & I'd love it. That aside, I love the shootout. Yea, it's new, but things change. Get over it. A win is a win. A loss is a loss. If you're going to have the shootout, might as well make it worth something. You know, add a little premium to the idea, instead of it being a gimmick. ... You are what you eat?

I'd prefer two points for a win, zero points for a loss. & that's with the shootout.
