I'm sure everyone who was either at the game or otherwise noticed the incredibly loud chants shouting TODD BER-TUZZI! TODD BER-TUZZI! Especially after his few scuffs and hits. I believe later i nthe game there were also Franzen and Hudler chants after their goals. I have rarely ever heard of this happening with the exception of goalies (for reasons good and bad). I wonder if this really pumps the players up when they are singled out like that. Could this be our home ice advantage, or do you think the players just ignore it?

I remember this song. I heard it on the Detroit country radio station 99.5 when I was a kid. It was a parody of a popular country song of that day. I want to say it was called "No News" by Lonestar. I am a U-Verse customer, and whenever a game is on FS-D+, my DVR functionality during the game is completely disabled. Has anyone else experienced this while watching games recorded on FS-D+? I called AT&T, and they said that it is an issue with the network, because when the games are on regular FS-D, the DVR works just fine. Is there any way to remedy this? There are like 16 games on FS-D+ this year, and I usually have to rely on recordings on my dvr to watch the wings. I dont want to miss anymore games .

Can you watch wings and tigers on FSN-D? OR does it say "not in viewing area"?

If I want to watch the wings where I live, its U verse or Center Ice... I'll take the U verse. I wonder if anyone here can test their Perrysburg U verse on a tigers game...

I wish I could get Buckeye, but they told me they dont service the sub I am in. FSN-D is on the channel lineup for U-verse using zip code 43551. I just dont know if I will be blocked from viewing the channel when the games are on.

I am forced to use Dish Netowrk where I am located in the Toledo Metro area, and I was wondering if anyone else here has Dish in the Greater Toledo Area? I had to pay extra to get FSN-D, but I was told it could be blacked out, and it looks like the HD channel is only on during games. IS it only blacked out when the games are being broadcasted nationally? Anyone who has this setup, I would appreciate it very much if you could give me a run down of Dish Network service in the Toledo Area.

If you remember, the Flip Leino Williams line at the beginning of the year was quoted by Babcock as our best line. What messed that all up was the injury to filpula. They were never reunited. Some players are pure goal scorers. Not every player is going to play a hard nosed gritty style. Didnt the wings lose this year because of a lack of scoring depth? I wont even get started on Kenny's off season blunders, including his inability to retain any of Hudler, Sammy AND Hossa. Why is it that it seems like players flourish when they leave this team? They just wake up and decide to play to their potential to show the wings what they missed out on? Ken Holland has done nothing but Fuck this team up lately. They won the cup in 2008 despite him, not because of him.

Are you implying that Leino chose to leave? I think he just wanted to play on a line with skill players, and Babcock wouldnt let him do it without first serving time on the forth line with scrubs. Ville will be a 30 goal scorer in this league, and we gave him away. I'm getting sick of Keeny giving away good talent for nothing. Or maybe its Babcock's coaching. How could we keep Meech in favor of Quincy, or Williams instead of Leino? How can the Red Wings as an organization so blatently miss talent like that?!

The wings have not won a single playoff game this year if the Tigers won that day...

Yeah, that was me that called in earlier today. They kinda blew me off, but I figured maybe more people would comment on it later. All the trend says is that the wings cannot win on the same day that the tigets do. This means that if they both lose, it neither confirms or debunks the trend.

This discussion makes me think of the Stars series from 2008... They made it awfully scary after the wings were up 3-0.
