My wife, who isn't the biggest hockey fan, but has faithfully sat through many games on the couch and at the Joe just said "All I hear is boner boner sploogey sploogey Patrick Kane...boner." LMFAO! -
If I recall correctly, Joel Quennvelle has never defeated the Red Wings in a playoff series. I wonder if this fact will play any significant role in the upcoming Detroit-Chicago series. Does Detroit have Joel figured out? Or were the various prior circumstances entirely a function of the teams playing, and not the coaching strategies?

To me this paints the picture that I always thought represented reality.Both players are very consistent (since The Choice ).Hossa is a slightly better point producer than Franzen. Not by any means head and shoulders better. Their cap hits reflect this. Don't really know why there is a debate here tbh. I guess you should look at playoffs too.

This analysis is flawed because it fails to factor in the 2+ seasons Franzen was a 4th line checking forward while Hossa was the top 1-2 players on his team and playing on the first line and power play.

I think Hossa's cap hit is only 5.2/ year. I think Kenny should have found a way to keep both, but I digress...I Like Our Team © Obviously I remember the Choice, and I think seeing them head to head will help us come to an understanding. Playoffs matter most, and when you have two players head to head, there's nothing better.

I read on MLive that Jimmy is fighting an injury and they called up McCollum just in case. They talked as if it was common knowledge that Jimmy was hurt. Does anyone have any more info on this?
