Nope, I think they said next week. Series moves back to GR for games 6 and 7, if needed, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Maybe they'll play him then.

Yeah, I think he could have worded it better. The only explanation is that Dats's agent is trying to play hardball, and that was who Kenny was speaking to directly.

Torts in Vancouver would be the ideal fit. Team needs a culture change, the city loves drama, and Torts loves the spotlight. He'll get it there, that's for sure lol.

I think this is due to Lash not being signed to a two-way deal starting next season. Ansar Khan reported the 3 year extension as being a ONE WAY deal... DD can be sent down, but why? It would make little sense. I guess this leaves either one of Cola or Quincey being moved. Holland will probably wait until camp, see if Danny is still ready, and then move someone. He should just dump one of them in July, though. -

I think Kindl was the biggest surprise in the playoffs, Nyquist and Andy aside (we knew they'd bring it). Kindl was very rough as the playoffs opened, but then towards the end of the 1st round and certainly in the second round, he finally got comfortable on the big stage and played well. He gets the 2013 Red Wings Late Bloomer Award.

Will try to watch the Griffs and see if they can get it done, especially if Kenny sends down some reinforcements.

Wow, very conservative roster. Probably very similar to what Kenny will do, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if it looked exactly like this. Why keep Filppula for 4 mil, though? You expect him to bounce back? 4 mil for his numbers this year is flushing money down the toilet.

Don't deal Quincey? It would be nice to get an upgrade on him. I think after Smith, he drew the most ire of any D-Man during the playoffs (and the mini-playoffs at the end of the season). He just doesn't fit into the Wings system very well.

We'll see in just a month. I can't imagine that he'd sit on his hands after all of this. Babs has been vocal about his displeasure concerning the roster and will be again for sure, and the pressure will be on to improve things. This time is different, because they almost missed the playoffs and really could have beaten the Hawks if they had a deeper team. Its obvious to the entire hockey world. If he doesn't do anything...I agree, he should retire. -

Question... Do any of the kids get sent down to GR for the playoffs? Looks like the Griffs could use some help against the Barons. I could see Smith going...he needs all the games he can get.

No way, Franzen is trade bait... There is no way he gets bought out. Holland could actually get some good assets for him!

Yeah I like all of these moves. Blueline should be fine, but they need some more intensive coaching. What about Flipper? I don't know about this one. Even for a discount, he doesn't seem worth much, unless he reveals an injury he had all season. A guy with a giant dropoff like his usually needs a change in scenery.

This team played better than it should have. Came close to beating the president's trophy winners... But didn't have the depth to go all the way. I'm excited for the draft and free agency, a lot of adjustments need to be made.
