Agree. Smith isn't able to get it together mentally...put him back in the roster in the next round. High pressure Game 7 is not going to be pretty for this kid. Can they send him down? I know there was a post-deadline limit, but I'm not sure about the playoffs. Maybe a game or two with his old buddies in GR during some AHL playoff fun will get him back on track.

The playoffs are unlike anything they've ever experienced. All excuses are gone next season, though! The pathetic 5min PP was the worst part of the game, worse than losing. They could have gotten two easy goals there, if not ONE. Note To Wings: that requires actually trying. Z gets some blame, yeah. Zero goals in the playoffs. Not sure how to excuse him there. I really do hope they move him, its sad to see him playing iPad games on the bench. A big deal needed to move him like that (maybe even a three-team deal) should shake up the market and create some activity.

Well, the Canucks are done. That was some pretty weak-ass play by them in OT, they deserve to go to the golf course. Best part about this is that it will certainly trigger the waaaaay overdue Luongo trade this summer. They simply cannot have two #1 goaltenders in the cap world and field a good team. LOL Is someone subtly telling us whats going to be announced this summer? Yep, went to quite a few Vipers games, too. I remember it being just fine, but then again I was a kid. Still, I had been to the Joe, and several minor league rinks in the region....and Vipers games were a fun time. I think it works, if they choose to keep the ol' Joe.
