Win over Nashville bumps the Wings up 15.3% to a 68.5% chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Nice win. -

Ka-bam. Much needed win. Now we just have to wait for Minny and Dallas to lose. Kind of weird, this being the last of the regular Nashville matchups. They were a good opponent.

I agree. I watched a bit of the game tonight against St. Louis, and they ripped them a new one. It hurts to admit that I agree with what you've said. These Wings just don't have the heart this year.

Wings only dropped 4.2% with this shootout loss to 56% chance of making the playoffs. Its not the end of the world, but that could come tomorrow. Sportsclubstats has a worst case scenario of the Wings dropping to 47.9%, or jumping all the way up to 71.2% likelihood of making the playoffs, all decided by the end of the day tomorrow. I really don't want to see less than a 50% chance on that board. -

Whew, this is a big game, basically a playoff game for all intents and purposes. If they don't bring it...then I don't even see the point of them making the playoffs anyway. Also tonight, STL and MIN....I would want Minny to lose this one, as it seems like it will create some more breathing room in the standings. St. Louis has a game in hand, so they will be harder to catch....they might as well take it.

How do you think Holland will adjust the Wings roster in the offseason with this in mind? Do you leave a little more room for kids to be brought up, instead of filling spots with old veterans? I guess you can always waive said veteran if need be.
