Great point. We saw the same exact talk and dismissal of the hawks when they played big in the GM game, and they're still on top while the wings are mediocre. Delusion. It would bring me great joy to see them flop in the first round LOL

Yep, I don't get the circus act when the other few NCAA players that were sought after signed quietly on Monday or Tuesday.

This is what GMs are supposed to be thinking about. On paper, we're no match for that lineup. Thankfully, weird things always happen in the second season. Still, a GM should not count on it and sit on his ass while others assemble teams like that.

Must be in horrible physical and mental shape. Will get bought out this summer and will either sign a rock bottom contract, or go play in Finland. What a shame, I'd like to know what went wrong with this guy.

Its not quite the same. Percentage of possible points doesn't follow the league rankings, it follows % of points from games actually played. A team with 3 games in hand and a lower standing would lose out to the team ranked slightly higher. Correct?

Really weird move by Canes GM Rutherford. He could have gotten a low pick at least. This is like Garth Snow weird. Columbus will snap him up. They go to the shootout almost every single game.
