Remember in Round 1 when they called up half the Griffins team (and sent many back down a week later)? Why didn't they keep them on for the 8 days off and scrimmage the Wings asses off so there wouldn't be rust? Seems like the idea of rest was not balanced. I can't believe how forgetful 5% of all fans are...its not like the Wings haven't been here before, and thats what everyone is concerned about. But hey man, since you know better than all of us....

As usual, the Wings can't handle an extended break off...they can't shake off the rust. I guess that happens more when you have an older team.

HA, another Russian who took a dump in the playoffs, so hes going to go run to the KHL and Mother Russia. Good riddance, I hope he does leave. Phoenipeg Jetotes deserved a playoff goalie performance and they got a preseason one.

Yeah Congrats to the Yotes for getting to the playoffs two years in a row after all those miserable Gretzky years. They really gave us a run for our money last year, and I was expecting more of the same this year...but it seems like something was missing. I think part of it was some lame goaltending (certainly not playoff level stuff) by Bryz...and the offense wasn't on fire (overachiving, if I might say) like it was last year. For the Coyotes fans (myself included, anytime they're not playing the Wings), I do hope this ugly situation works out for the best. Its nice to have hockey in such a boring city like Phoenix!!!

Ok, the ESPN/VS whining is getting old. My question about this new agreement is...will NBC be broadcasting anymore games/better times than they are now (the occasional lame 11am sunday morning on the west coast gametimes), or will things remain the same? I see that VS is going from 50 games to 90...quite an improvement. NBC needs to beef things up on their end, though.

The Coyotes organization and those who surround it have always been whiney about the Wings fans. BOO HOO, I wore my Wings jersey in last years series, and got heckled the whole time from the moment I got out of the car. They can dish it out, but can't take it. Wahhhhh

Yeah, hes right on. They DO have more depth on D, but its not really going to help...unless ours falls to pieces...ummm like it did too many times to count this season. Even so, we have the firepower, they don't. I'm not sure what was going on with the Wolski trade...could have used him I can't wait to see the preview, I hope someone posts it on Youtube tonight.
