Who doesn't know him from his assistant stint or by playing in GR? Weiss? Is that it? This should all go rather smoothly then. -
Well, thats pretty heartbreaking. Griffs had a good run, and now they're shut out and are done for the summer. Imagine if Mrazek was playing. Oh well, Blashill has bigger fish to fry now.

Are we to assume Babcock wanted Jurco up in Detroit so much? I worry that he f-ed up his development. He certainly should have spent most of the season in GR.

The bronze game is exactly what I'm talking about. Its the Olympics...you don't throw a baby tantrum and stop trying because you can only get a Bronze. THAT was the embarrassment and I partially blame Bylsma. It betrays character issues. Keep him away from this team. -

Since everyone is singing Babs' praises about his Olympic record, we should do well to remember Blysma preciding over the embarrassing effort and collapse of Team USA at the Olympics last year. That was a good roster. -

US outmatched...Russia wins 4-0 and US goes to Bronze game vs Czechs. Larkin played well...good chances and some flashes of brilliance especially considering the team he was playing against. Also at least one boneheaded penalty that lead to a Russian goal...but hes a kid so whatever.

I love Don Cherry because he has a way of getting this board's panties in a bunch. Bless him lol He's also bucking the typical pro-Canada bias (good ol Toronna) and praising the Wings organization and Mr. I. And rightly so... Its good solid advice for Babs. But, is it the best option for the team? Maybe he and Holland can form a more cohesive vision for the years ahead, this time. If so...by all means, come on back. Otherwise...hello Blash. -
