I know Guerin's only worn 13 his whole career, I dont know about Tkachuk. Has he worn anything else?

yeah we still have many guys left on this roster that know what it takes to win in the playoffs. First and foremost it takes heart. Babcock and company know this too. They are not going to mortgage the future to get a couple of guys that may or may not help us. What is needed from our current roster is some rest and some change in attitude come playoff time.

I think they need to start working on playing against the trap. You know we're gonna see it in round one against whoever. If I see another series of us getting trapped and dumping the puck in for 60 min and basically doing nothing with it, I'm gonna FU***NG scream!!!!! during one of the Red Wings weeklys recently, Babcock said he passed along his wish list to the front office. Now I personally think we need more than one guy to help this team to the SCF, but if Babcock doesn't get at least a little of what he wants, what do you think happens?

maybe if hockey equipment wasn't so expensive and ice time wasn't so expensive, there'd be more people willing to get their kids involved. Example: Soccer is probably the most widely played sport by kids in this country. (baseball and basketball too) These three sports are fairly cheap to compete, shoes, cleats, glove, bat and ball. Most people wanna get their kids involved in sports for the exercise. Minimize the cost for hockey players and I guarantee the exposure grows.

lets see if McCarty can be had, then we could lure Larionov, Kozlov, Hull, Robitaille, Murphy, and everybody else out of retirement. that would be just dandy, the answer to our prayers.
