Really don't feel great about either of these teams. But I guess I'd take Nashville. Bryz scares me more than Rinne and I think we'll elevate our game more if we face Nashville. -

Based on what I've read from various sources, I'd say plan on it. At this point I'm just hoping he's good enough to go for the beginning of round 2 (assuming we get there).

Based on the play i've seen this season, Joey is by far the superior goaltender to Howard. -
Great post, I get really sick of hearing about how awful our defense is. I mean it certainly isn't the best in the league, but they make it sound like we have an AHL defense out there. Every defense makes mistakes, gives the puck up, and fails to cover a man every once in a while. I just don't see how so many can assign basically all the blame on the defense and non on the goaltending.

Why does everyone think Rafalski is so bad on D? I mean I watch most Wings games, and I know he's no Nick Lidstrom, but he seems to hold his own quite well defensively. -
