Ya, that was basically my point on that. Its a lot easier to match up during an away game when you have Dats and Z that can play against anyone and will be on the ice for 40 minutes of the game (at least one of them). Without Dats on the road, I think we lose games 3 and 4.

I agree, but we were relatively healthy for the ducks. Need Lids SO bad. I think we could survive a few more games w/o Dats, but Lids will be needed to stop their top guys.

You guys are too much. I'll agree the schedule is s***ty, but its better than waiting nine games between games. No suspense there for casual fans as they would've forgotten all about hockey by then. But to think this has anything to do with a master plan to give the Pens an advantage is absolute nonsense.

One positive is that the saturday game will only be the second game in six days. And if Pavs and Lids play Saturday, they'll have had over a week off. Obviously won't be fully healed though.

I seem to remember hearing that repeatedly about Rafalski, and it sounded like it was possible Dats could've been back for Sunday's game as well and now he's not even ready for today. So don't put any weight in Babs injury statements.

How high will Hossa's game go if we end up playing the Pens. I imagine there is a whole other level beyond what we saw in game 4. But even if that played a part, I still don't think Dats and Hossa have much chemistry.
