If we lose to the pens and he sucks in that series as well, he'll only be able to blame himself when he looks back at his horrible numbers in the postseason.

Maybe the Pens are just that good. If we end up facing the Pens again in the SCF, I can tell you for sure that we are going to have our work cut out for us. Let's beat Chicago first though then worrry about that.

Found this line interesting from the ESPN recap for tonight's game. If you had told me at the start of the playoffs that Datsuyk would get one goal and our PK would be around a 70% effectiveness, I certainly wouldn't have thought we'd be in terrific shape. -

I was going to post this topic yesterday but decided to wait to see if it would actually be Pens/Wings. But if Pens were to win against wings, I would feel so bad for Hossa Actually if the pens win against the Hawks or the Wings I'll be pissed.

Keeping Hossa would be an epic mistake by Holland. Cap pressure will come to play in the year after next and it would make us so inflexible a few years out and would certainly negatively impact depth. We won without Hossa, we can certainly build another solid team without him. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but it would be a mistake to tie up so much money in long term contracts with the economic and cap uncertainty.

Anyone else freaking out. I'm all nervous and stressed about this game, I want them to win so bad. It makes it 100x more powerful that losing to the ducks for the consecutive playoff series would be mind numbingly painful. Plus Hawks/Wings Conference finals would be so sweet.
