Not much faith in Boston? I think Thomas could carry them. but back on topic...Pens probably worse on paper, but the playoff experience that Crosby and Malkin have now could actually put them ahead this year.

Ya I thought that call was weak, but I also thought the call on Franzen that put us down to 4 on 3 was very weak. Seemed like the Duck player dove there as well.

No if you slow it down, he is right, Hudler releases right when the clock turns to 36 and the hit is right when the clock is turning to 35. Still a penalty and suspension either way b/c of the hit to the head.

The team isn't all that special, but Luongo is the type of goalie that can steal not just a game, but an entire series. Which is why I'd rather play Hiller, who in my view is very beatable with our puck at the net/crash the net/screen the goalie system.

Good luck getting anyone to waive NTC's. Which is why Hossa will NOT be coming back. I've been saying this for months, its mathematically possible, but realistically not feasible.

I never used to be a huge fan of it either, but the Wings are going to have a pretty tough road to the cup and could use the rest and time to heal any lagging injuries. -

I'm surprised Conks didn't start the game, we are up 3-0 in the series, fairly comfortable position. Why risk Osgood injuring himself even more when we are going to need him at the top of his game in the next round. That's what pisses me off. -

We haven't generated much sustained offensive pressure, jackets are clearly energized by the crowd, but Ozzie has been fantastic. -

I called wings in 5 at the beginning of the series, so I guess I'll give the jackets this one. 3-1 Jackets...Mason steals the game after Wings outshoot the jackets 153-9), but of course all the post game LGW focus is on Osgood's poor save percentage. -

I wasn't talking about next year, i was talking about the 2010/2011 season.

My gosh guys, run the numbers there is NO chance Hossa is around next year. He wants a long term deal and with league revenues likely to decline, signing him to anything more than one year would be suicide in 2010/2011.
