I'll probably get flamed for this but what the H: Your pissed and jealous that a guy gets to play SLED (disabled) hockey at the Joe?!?!?!?!?! WTF! I know your saying you wish you could play at the Joe- but I'm not so sure you thought about his disability being the issue (but then maybe YOU are disabled too and I'm a COMPLETE tool- who knows). I manage real estate for disabled people and some of them pay $25 a month for rent in a GREAT apartment complex but they have no income and a disability- I can assure you I have never been jealous that they only pay $25 in rent because they have no income and are disabled. But I digress- not really picking at you- just thought it was a strange way to post it is all. It would be like an NHL player saying: "Man Vlad got to go on the ice and take a lap around the ice with the Stanley Cup after the Wings won- I'm so jealous"

I want to know why the goalie took off skating down the ice???? Nevermind watched it again and noticed the ref was telling them to get off the ice Not signaling a face off at center ice.

That fight reminded me of the time Forsberg and Federov got into a bit of a scrum where Fed whas bashing Forsberg's face into the ice and obviously Forsberg had gotten under his skin. Have never been able to find a video of it. Anyone else remember that or have a video?

Modano- Got him! (wanted him about 5-10 years ago) Ryan Miller- after Osgood retires. Always wanted Osgood back once he got booted. Wanted Hatcher- that didn't work so well. Iginla-Would love to see him and Zetterberg together. Pronger- Teemu Selani- could you imagine him and Federov together back in the day. Big Buff- to learn from Homer how to be the next net presence. Nash Doane-But he can leave the goofy expressions in Phoenix. JS Gigierre- from a few years ago-not anymore though. Always wanted Cujo- got him thought he was treated like crap and wanted him over Hasek. Willie Mitchell- oh man thought we were going to get him this summer. Federov- yup wanted him back when he went to Washington. Thought he would have been a great depth player to add for the playoff run. M Satan.- Was another one that I thought would have been a GREAT pickup when he was available a few years ago. Avery- pure entertainment and skin crawling. Pfaneuf- Camalleri- P bergeron Savard I'll stop now.

You forgot my two favorites: Malkin not getting suspended while getting a fight instigator penalty against Hank. Lidstrom getting speared in the testicles by the blackhawks (sharp?).

I see him being a better fit on Vs' doing commentary w/ Engbloom & Jones. The three of them could form a new line- the bad hair line or perhaps the receading hair line. Throw in Olchyk and McCarty and you could have a full power play unit.

I've got the game on FSC (way out in Iowa- 500 miles away) so I can't complain much but I'm curious why in the world the NHL network has me blacked out??? Is it because I DO get the Chicago station?

The pregame video has such an ANNOYING Chicago feel to it. Love the way they made it all about the Detroit Redwings. It's like Detroit is Chicago's big brother and they want to rub one item in our face. I hope we kick their arses hard tonight.

After living in Northwest Indiana for YEARS it will be nice to have a Wings win to not have to hear the Hawks Fans crap tomorrow. LETS GO WINGS! Lets go Ozzie! I live almost 500 miles from Chicago now and it is my "regional" sport station- it AND Minneapolis. Iowa really SUCKS! I think I need to move back to the mitten.

On game day threads for the live stream last night it kept taking me back to an old game day thread (Western Conference playoffs against Sharks). I used to just do a Google search and find one of my own but have never been real happy with the quality I find. Would like to try using the one in gameday thread. I saw somewhere on this thread that you have to sign up for the live stream. how????? And do you have to do that every single game???? I feel like a Homer (Imbecile not Holmstrom) for asking. I gotta tell you understand the feeling of not wanting to get burnt-almost like HOW DARE YOU NOT BE AS GOOD OR AS SMART AS ME ABOUT SOMETHING- I see that alot when people ask about Live streams and other "obvious" questions (it can't be too obvious if so many people ask). I'm fairly new to this as well but have used livestreams in the past. I usually use one from a p2p website. The tiny URL link above does show one of the sites I have used for the Livestream. Again I think it is something with a p2p.com. I will post it soon for you to try if you don't get help from someone who knows more about this. I really want to find out how to get a better quality stream than what I keep getting. Is it CPU, the link, something different??? myp2p.eu then I have to hit about 2-3 links before I get what I want.

What are some of your favorite hockey moments- for me it would have to be: Game 1 SCF when Fleury fell flat on his face entering the rink. Probert Domi fights Seeing Gretzky play during his final season live. My first game at the Joe- Yzerman moved past Lemieux on goal list (even though I got to the game late and missed the goal) and Datsyuk scored a goal to send it to overtime with I think 3.8 seconds left against Blackhawks. They then lost in OT like 8 seconds in. Going to Game two of the SCF and meeting Franzen after the game when he signed my sons' pucks for them- seeing Gordie Howe, Yzerman, Kenny Holland, Lidstrom, Osgood, etc all up close as they drove out the players exit after the game. My first NHL game- Detroit at Chicago in I think 94. More Wings fans than Chicago fans. Wings won! Shanahan scored- I remember that.

I drove all the way from Chicago to go to that game. I got caught in a hail storm near Kalamazoo and the entire highway stopped moving. It was just enough to make me late for the Yzerman goal. What a kick in the shorts.
