I got really sick of hearing VS' and NBC announcers say: "Well folks, it's YET ANOTHER sell out crowd here tonight" they made it sound like it was an everyday occurence.

Is there ANYONE who can remove the swearing from this video text??? I would love to post it on my facebook but cant' because of the swearing- I have many Canadian friends and family and would love to show them this but need it cleaned up a bit. I've worked for a church for the past several years and really don't think it would be appreciated.

I have Dish Network with the sports package- no center ice. I live in Iowa 3 hours south of Minneapolis. I can't get hardly any game at all- wings or any other team. Just about every game that is "scheduled" is "not available" when I go to view it from the guide. Why can't I watch any games in the NHL? I can't even figure out what channel the wild are on to catch those games- seems like I never even see them listed as playing on any channel- let alone "not available". Of course would prefer wings games, but wouldn't mind picking up another team that might just be playing the wings. The sports package is really a joke.

Let us know how happy you are with it? I think I will wait till mid-season pricing.

That's funny because my wife is from Canada. I moved out of Michigan in 94 and out of Chicago this year- always during the seasons that the local teams are hot and coverage is great. Go figure.

I have the gold package with VS and NHL Network (didn't pay extra for it- told the guy on the phone my package sucked and I should have gone with Directv). Is there anyway to get a discount on Center Ice? We live near Fort Dodge. I moved here from NW Indiana (Chicago) and moved there from Adrian, MI- born and raised in Warren and Adrian areas in MI.

My 9 year old son ( a Chris Osgood youth look alike and goalie) would be on cloud nine if he could meet Osgood. He got to see him drive out of the Joe after Game two- also got a puck signed by the Mule- (only guy to stop). Anyway does anyone know of any signings or scheduled events he might have or how to find out?

You know that icks me off. Look at my picture/icon and you can see the Great Marcell Dionne one of the best to play the game and he spent 45 minutes just talking with my boys and me this Christmas Eve in Niagara Falls at his store. He talked about how the current generation of players just doesn't get that its' all about the little guys like my kids and they need to make these young guys feel special. He did! The best was he gave them each a signed card and made them promise when the make it into the NHL that they would give him autographed cards of themselves. My son thinks Osgood is the best and would just love to have a chance to meet him.

I had to work and missed the game- Can't find anything on all of the penalties- especially the three game misconducts- what happened? Was there a fight somewhere?

I sold three of mine beforehand for "cost" (it is illegal to sell tickets above cost). The guy who bought them had a no-show and had to sell one- He sold my $225 ticket for $50. I asked a scalper what he was getting for upper level- he said "I'm just trying to get face for everything" You should be able to get a deal.

I've got two next to me and my family for game two that I'm sellling for just above face value plus ticketmaster fees. They are in section 217B row 12 (Behind net wings shoot at twice). I'm driving up from Chicago area (NW Indiana) tomorrow (Saturday afternoon) to my parents home in Adrian (Ann Arbor area). Feel free to call me at 219-808-0538. First post- been a "member" for over 3 years. My eight year old son loves Osgood- kid looks like Osgood must have looked as a boy! He wrote a nice note to Osgood a couple months ago congratulating him on the cup and bragging on how Osgood is so respectful and polite. This week he got two autographed Osgood cards mailed back to him-I was shocked! Just go to show Osgood is a class act. Made my sons life I think. Now he is sending notes to all of the players. We'll see how that goes and report back. Next Friday me and the boys (now 7 & 9) are going to our first Red wings game. They don't know yet. I'll start another thread about that and what to do/expect for two young guys.
