How does it add salt to the wound if it was the right call?

This is not a penalty, some people are looking for a reason to blame someone other than the Wings for the loss. Blame the horrible third period where we just sat back on our heels or blame two softies Jimmy let in. The fact of the matter is this team has played a ton of games over the last 4 years. We are older, tired, and hurt and we are playing a team that, wait for it, is better than us this season!

I must have not been sarcastic enough. Although I thought anytime someone proposed putting Lebda back in the lineup, it was assumed to be sarcasm.

Another alarming trend: every time someone posts a thread like this, no one cares.

We really need Ratty Patty out there. I love the energy he brings and he's so stellar on the PK. Let's put in Lebda instead of Willy.

My favorite part of the game was blatant make up call when Stuart hammered someone (Pavelski maybe?) into Howard and they called goalie interference. Laughable.

Which is funny because what series has more intrigue? Habs v. Pens? Or Wings v. Sharks? I'd go with the latter obviously. I can see how some would find intrigue in the Pens v Habs series but most aren't even giving the Habs a shot to win 2 games let alone the series. Although most didn't think they would win a game against the Caps.

I think the east is wide open. Not sure why everyone is handing the east to the Pens. I'll agree they are the favorite but I really don't think its a foregone conclusion. I mean look at what happened tonight. I have to root for the Habs now, not because they are playing the Pens, but because my dad is a diehard Habs fan and has promised to buy tickets at any cost if they ever play the Wings in the Finals.

While I understand that in the event the Habs win this game that Pittsburgh will be the favorite to come out of the east, people seem to be forgetting that the Penguins didn't romp all over the Sens. I think the East is wide open, especially if Halak keeps playing like this.

Halak deserves the Conn Smythe just for this series.

Really wish I could go back about a year and get a Halak jersey instead of a Price jersey.

For anyone who doesn't mind rap, listen to all I do is win by DJ Khaled. I was having a slow day and heard it on the radio on the way home from work and it got me so pumped up.

It's a very similar hit to the Campbell hit. Hamhuis was turning to go around the net and Hossa got enough of him just to throw him off balance. Again, I think it's a similar situation to the Campbell hit. I say a game for consistency, but we know that doesn't exist in the NHL.

God I hope Green doesn't win it.

So I just returned home from a week long cruise for my honeymoon where I had little access to watch any of the first 3 games, other than espn2's bottom line for final scores. I'd normally read through the forums to get an overall view as to how we've been playing but knowing that we're down 2-1, most of what I'll read will be negative. Just wondering if some of you could fill me in as to how the first 3 games have gone. Has Jimmy s*** himself or is the D awful? Giving up just about 4 goals a game isn't going to cut it. Thanks!

Wear a jersey during every game and it doesn't get washed until they are eliminated/win the cup. I also wear the same hat until they lose a game, then I have a rotation pretty much.

The better question is why was nothing called when the hit from behind was directly in front of a ref?

When I saw that was the game they decided to show, I was kind of pissed, mostly because it was Tampa Bay. Then I realized I've never really seen Stamkos play. It was kind of refreshing to see a team getting tv time that you normally don't see.
