great to see ZDH back together. I expect to see lots of scoring real soon from that line. Also, I've been one of many to criticize Fil this year but he looked like a different player playing with Hossa last night. I don't know if he feels the need to elevate his game since he is playing with Hossa or what, but keep it up son!

No Lidstrom and Hossa and all the others know of this too. That's why they'll be resting for the remainer of the series. Expect to see Leino Abdelkader, Kindl, etc. playing the rest of the series to get them some experience.

I liked seeing him play physical and aggressive and taking out one of their top 4 d-men for 5 minutes. I question the timing of that seeing as they had just scored a goal and then it gave the crowd another reason to get back in the game. Nothing resulted out of it thankfully but I question the timing.

If they are looking into this they might want to look at some old Hossa threads on there. I'm pretty sure I saw several comments similar to the one made about Ovie. I think it's a little overblown, but I guess if they think it's serious then there is a need to investigate it.

Biased as I may be, it looked like Homer was knocked off balance and flailed, thus hitting Wisniewski in the face with his elbow. Probably could have been called a penalty but it wasn't. One thing it wasn't though was intentional. I think Wisniewski was a little out of line.

Honestly, I think the reason for the poor tv schedule in the first round for the Wings was more because they were playing the Blue Jackets and the NHL probably though that it wasn't going to draw much in the way of ratings. edit: I bet the tv schedule would have been much different if the Wings had played the ducks in the first round and the sharks had played the Jackets. Probably wouldn't have seen much of the Sharks on tv.

First off, watch the replay and look where the gash was. I'm not sure what cut him but it wasn't his visor since the cut was above his left eye. Secondly, he didn't have his head down. He was looking the other way to see where his dump/pass to Fil was going so he knew where his next play was: either to the offensive zone or get ready to play defense against the rush that would be coming. Totally different from having your head down. Lastly, I'm pissed but not surprised there was no suspension. Whatever.

This is the second time in as many days I've heard someone from the stuck up West coast make entirely ignorant comments. I did order a Carey Price jersey for myself and a Saku Koivu jersey from lightinthebox.com and they were very nice other than a couple minor stains that came out in the wash. $100 for two jerseys plus shipping that's where I'm getting my jerseys from now on.

There's a difference between mixing it up during a game and this punk's antics. Anyone who attempts to defend this just doesn't get it.
