The starting lineup for the west is a little ridiculous and basically shows why fans shouldn't be doing the voting but oh well. Give them the all-stars we'll have the cup.

No biggie, I doubt he'll do anything this season. However it would be sweet to see him and Dmac go at it again. Maybe Dmac will stop his hugfests that he's be having this season. -
I believe Hossa actually signed for just under 7.5 mil this season due to the unwritten, Kenny Holland enforced "Lidstrom rule".

Who knows, that could play to the Wings advantage if he's played in the other 2, especially after last year's game with all the snow and wind.

I just got even more excited! An old high school teacher of mine that has season tickets sold me two for $375. Me and my buddy already set a limit at $200 a ticket so this worked out great! Face value they are $75 and in the bleachers section 304 kinda sucks but I felt like I would regret it if I turned em down!

When in the hell will Crosby learn how to take a hit? He's not god damn Gretzky. Also, that Stuart hit right at the beginning, anyone notice the little kid yelling at Tanguay (I think that was him) as he skated away? Fantastic!

I wore an avs jersey one time in 2002 after i lost a regular season bet. It was a Patrick Waaaah jersey and it was awful I felt like a cheating *****. Thank god we ended up beating them in the playoffs and ultimately won the cup so the bastard who made me wear his waaaah jersey had to wear my wings jersey.

I like the suspension. There's no need for avery to actually hunt out the media and say something as derogatory as this. His comment doesn't even pertain to hockey and it shows a lot about his character. An elbow to the head can be interpreted by many casual fans as part of the game but referring to an ex as sloppy seconds won't be. This guy is entirely classless and sounds a little bitter about his breakup maybe?

It'd be nice but I'm not going to anticipate him staying. I'll have the same mentality this offseason towards him as I did last offseason and I'll be just as surprised if he resigns.

good screw bettman, he was the one who got the NHL on versus, a station that isn't even provided by all standard cable providers. Who cares if the deal espn/abc offered was an insult, if he accepted the deal then the NHL would be better off. If you shun the biggest sports broadcaster then they won't give you any time on their network, bettman is a complete moron.

When considering Franzen's stats, remember he has missed 5 of the Wings' 15 games this year. Food for thought....

As much as I love having Hossa, I would rather see him go. Guys like franzen are hard to come by and we have two of the best in Franzen and Homer. Maybe Hossa will be so hungry to win that he'll take a lesser amount of $$ to be with the wings.

I read on a habs forum that grabhovski gave price the butt end of his stick after price shoved him and apparently even don cherry pointed it out after the game. If cherry pointed out something bad about the leafs then it must have happened. Cherry then went on to say he has a real poor work ethic and thats why the habs shipped him to the leafs and that the leafs will eventually get sick of him too.

Tough break for the Sharks. While part of me wants to hope it's not too bad, the other part hopes he's out for a while. Actually, who am I kidding, I hope he's out for several months.
