I'm just glad we don't really have to worry about making any adjustments. Couple of bad, extremely ill timed passes taken out and we might have won this one. Tonight Z looked like he's spent too much time watching Sammy shoot. Hopefully he gets the magic back next game. Sucks to lose but at least we didn't get completely violated like a certain other NHL team that's still playing this late in the season.

I nearly just fell out of my chair laughing. Every one of the names you've listed above have been rumored to be leaving Detroit for Toronto within the last year or so.
-
Now we need to sit back and wait for the story on TSN that says that Andersson is in negotiations to void his contract because he wants to fulfill his "lifelong dream" of working for the Maple Leafs.

Another guess given the placement would be that they're camera setup/focal points for the TV crews to get their settings straight. They seem like they're located in places where you see close-ups somewhat frequently on TV.
-
My guess is that it's informational for the crew that assembles the boards after events that require them to be taken down.
-
That's not just a tech checking the mics, it's the newly hired Penguins coach that'll debut in game 3.

I tied the TV purchase to moving to the new house myself. The wife got a new house, I got a new TV. I like to thing I got the long end of the stick on that one but a lot of people disagree with me You should see the look I get from her when I explain that the current system will become the secondary system when we move again in a couple of years.

60" JVC here with 6.1 surround, speakers mounted on walls around the room and an "extra" pair of tower speakers added to the equation. Really going to miss it on Saturday as I have to watch the game elsewhere.

stack up all of the finals patches for the Detroit jerseys, shove them up Bettmans ass, problem solved.

So they call a no goal on a phantom goaltender interference, whatever. My problem is this: IF Turco would have gotten lucky and the made the save or the puck misses the net, I think they would NOT have given Homer 2 minutes for GT interference. This isn't the first time this scenario has played out this year each time I'm left wondering why in the hell we don't get a penalty if it's goaltender interference. It's like Homer has his own version of the "Avery rule" with the difference being that one is in the rulebook now and the other just pops into the ref's head once in a while.

Shhhh! They don't want anyone to know that Stevie pulled a Neidermayer and resumed his career right before the playoffs.
-
From what they said on VS, Theodore is sick... ...of getting scored on, that is.
-
Finally they deleted the commend under interference in the rule book where it says (unless it's done to Holmstrom in the offensive zone)
-
Anyone else smell bulls*** when they were telling the Theodore not being there story? I think he's on the way back to the hotel... crying.
-
I missed it. I was distracted by the Avs balls on Jones' chin.
-
I'm shocked. How did Lids NOT pick off that pass.

Wife's in CA.

Hidedely hodedely, friend! Here's a nice 5-hole for you to shoot through.
-
Awesome coverage by Flip there to keep them from knocking the rebound in.
-
Oh no, Budaj: we're dead now!
-
Or someone throws another octopus and they go: "Sorry, Pierre, you're standing in the new dead octopus storage area, enjoy!"
-
I wish VS had Pierre McGuire: he'd be telling us how even though it's only game 1 and we're up by 2 goals Detriot is REALLY in trouble in the series.
-
I'll agree with you for the most part on that one. The Nashville series had me wondering if anyone knew what interference was anymore.
-
Wow, a cross-check and a hold called this period. Looks like someone read a few sections of the rule book during the break between series.

He did have a shot a bit ago that didn't hit Theodore in the logo, though. He TOTALLY missed the net but that might be seen as improvement for Sammy.
