When I first heard the ...you suck chants yesterday I thought of it as the fans at JLA making fun of the Nashville fans. It struck me as being pretty funny. Then again, to a casual fan watching on NBC it might just make the Det fans look classless. I was telling a friend of mine that I thought they should play that stupid "i like it, i love it, i want some more of it..." song at least once when a Detroit goal was scored as an f-you to Nashville. Man it irritates the piss out of me when Nashville scores at home and they play that. Being in WI, I've always been a big fan of the crowd responding to the announcer saying "both teams at full strength" with "that's debatable" at Badger hockey games. The "high school goalie" chant at the visiting goalie is pretty good as well.

I think he probably scared Dumont on that play a minute ago too.

I've always thought that the word "shutout" should be treated as a bad word and filtered out, especially on game days.

Rember a few years ago when the league had a hard-on for players being in the crease and they were disalowing goals left and right? Does anyone remember if they were going to instant replay on the calls back then? When they made the no goal call on the ice I was fully expecting them to go to the boys in Toronto for a review. Seems to me that these situations should be treated the same way as goals scored with questions of whether they were hit with a high stick or not --> go to the review.
