Look at it this way. If the NFL was taken over by a Canadian market, and only six teams remained in the United States, dont you think American broadcasts would be overly bias in favour of teams south of the border? The point is, hockey is a way of life in Canada and many Canadians want the cup here. Like it or not, thats how its going to be. I would be willing to bet that if, say the Rangers played Calgary for the cup, you would see a Rangers bias from networks like NBC, and they would run with the whole Canada vs. US theme.

He hasnt broken out yet.. but it definately looks like its his time.. I also noticed that he's getting mad out there and is ready push guys back and not shy away from the rough stuff.. looks like he really wants it... I know alot of people criticized his contract, but if he keeps playing the way he is, he's worth every penny.

Damn you guys get pissed off easy. Yes, TSN is bias but dont turn this into a "whiny ass Canadian" thing. Americans networks would be bias too, but they dont give a s*** about hockey. The American broadcasters are equally bias as the Canadian ones... If you dont like it, dont go to the tsn site... the world doesnt revolve around Detroit Michigan..

I dont think Hudler can even skate backwards.. and he is the slowest guy on the team.. if he mishandles the puck on the point or coughs it up, he's not getting back..

i believe he was refering to the actual roster, in which their is no limit. If Kopecky hadnt gone down he would have a spot in the lineup, but since he hasnt played in some time, he wont play unless a few guys go down.

You are right. Some of the bitching and moaning about Nashville gets pretty old around here. The knee was questionable, the Radulov hit was unintentional, and as for Tootoo... everyone would be loving him off for his play if he was a Wing.

oh, I didnt realize it.... I was a little disappointed in him when he gave up the puck twice on the delayed penalties though... To me, he looks timid when he has the puck.. he's a real good player and i like him, but I feel that once Calgary wakes up and start banging us, Clearly would be the guy i'd rather have out there..... just my opinion.

I havent seen much from Hudler myself... Clearly looks fine.. and Maltby will not be scratched.... I say Hudler..

Islanders were handed a playoff birth... it's no surprise however... obviously a team thats playing for their lives is going to beat teams that are playing for nothing down the stretch.. all the guys on the Jersey bench were laughing in the shootout.... It would have been much better for hockey had the Leafs made the playoffs... It sucks to see the Leafs get a huge victory only to be spoiled by a team that cruzes through a bunch of back up goalies..

If i'm a betting man, I say Redwings take this one in 5 games.. Calgary is a bad team...

and yes.. Avery is a big mouth prick as well.. i hope someone Simons him and teaches him a lesson.. but i dont know.. just seemed like some of the older guys Roenic, Hull, Chelios, Guerin Tkachuk, Hatcher were big mouth kind of guys.... just an observation...

Datsyuk and Ovechkin played together in Dynamo during the lockout and were also roomates. i remember in an interview someone asked alex what he did in his spare time or something like that , and he replied that he played fifa soccer on playstation with Pavel. This season must be the first time you have ever watched hockey. If you actually know quite a bit about fighting you would know Fadoruk is tought as nails...
