Back it up with what?? I havent spoken to Holland. I don't know what his reasoning would be. But I know personally that Legace is nothing more than a back up goalie in this league anyway. He had a great month of October, but lets not forget the teams we played. We could have thrown Joey McDonald in October and we still could have come out with an excellent record. Since then, Legace hasnt impressed me anymore than Osgood has. Atleast Osgood is a starting goalie with a ton of experience. I would take a Stanley Cup winner over a player of the month anyday. Maybe thats what Holland has in mind.

Well I could tell you my life story about who I am and who I know, but it's not worth telling idiots like you. People cant take a rumor for what it's worth. I didnt put forth any confidential information. My associates have not been sworn to secrecy based on things that occur around the office. How do you think rumors exist?? Why are trades often predicted before they happen?? An AHL teams front office isnt the CIA pal. But Maybe you can take me to court for this

As I said in another thread, I cant thrown names out there. I can only tell you that my sources are involved in team marketing. They work closely with some top executives of hockey operations in Grand Rapids. The trade i proposed was speculation. I included only the names that I heard might be involved. Whether or not something goes through in the next couple days, i'm not sure. One thing though is for sure, Howard is expected not to return to Grand Rapids.

I was only going by the names that I hear will be involved. I'm sure the Wings would get another prospect or a draft pick out of the deal as well. I dont know much about Artyukhin myself, but I could see Salei fitting in quite well. As far as trading Legace, I would'nt mind. I can't see a career back up goalie taking us through the playoffs. Hudler is a good prospect for us, but I wouldnt mind shipping him off if it meant satisfying out defensive needs as well as getting a draft pick in return. On top of that, it seems that Babs isnt much of a Hudler fan.

The Question you should have asked is, How Slow is Hudler? I see this guy play and his legs move 100mph, but he doesnt go anywhere cuz his legs are shorter than the average arm.

This is more than a rumour at this point... Aparently Tampa, Detroit, and one other team are close to closing a three way deal. All I know at this point is it involves shipping out Legace, and obtaining a defenseman...

Should trade this guy. He is useless unless he has the puck. He cant skate. He's lazy and he only plays when he feels like it. He goes off the ice when the other team turns it over and breaks out...I could see him scoring 40 points for the Wings and then turning around wanting 4 mil a year. He probably has some good trade value right now due to the numbers he is putting up. I say trade the Battle Troll, and get us some picks...

Saw Filppula play the other day. He scored the game winner against Hamilton. He's a decent player, but nothing to get excited about. I cant see him competing at the NHL level any time soon. He needs to learn to adjust to the physical play. He coughs up the puck too much when breaking out as a result of tight checking. He tryed to throw one hit in the game, and he got send flying the other way. IF he has room, he can make things happen, but he definately needs to learn not to panic under preasure. Maybe bulk up the frame a little too.
