I keep thinking about the piss poor missed call when hasek was pushed in the net, and then the soft call on Datsyuk to give Anaheim the chance to tie the game.. congrats to them for banking on their chances, but you would be an idiot to say that these two events had no impact on the series... what happened to the days when you had to commit murder before the reffs made a call at the most crucial point in the game..

why shake someones hand if you dont have any respect for them?? pointless if you ask me... The Ducks showed no sportsmanship all series long.. so why should Chris?

The Ducks team is made up of world class goons and babies.. did you hear the things some of these guys said in the media.. god knows what they say on the ice... Cheli is a class act veteran guy, and if he didnt shake hands with them, he had reason.......

I agree with everything you just said. I too am in favour of Bertuzzi coming back. It was so obvious that he was not even close to 100% out there... I thought he got better as the playoffs went on. He looked like he was able to control the puck a lot better, taking the puck to the net and creating chances... He can also be a beast on the forecheck... of course we didnt see it as much as we liked to, but when he did, it was clear that no one wanted to go in the corner with him. i think he could be valuable for us next season.. and i would be happy to see him back.

Would love to see Dom back myself..... what about Chris? will he be back next year?

You gotta wonder about Holmstrom, cuz he has not been the same since the cheap shot from Pronger.. Before that he seemed unstopable, burying everything... but he just wasnt the same player after the hit......

I really wanted to curse at you, but I will keep it to myself.. lol.... good series, and good luck in the finals.. I would root for the Ducks, but I don't want to see the goon Pronger win the cup, or that little rat Perry..

Great season .. i'm damn proud. Datsyuk has elevated his play to another level. He and Zetterberg will carry this team for years to come. All the critics, and many of us fans thought the Wings would be a 7th or 8th seed, and bow out early in the playoffs.. Well we finnished 1st in the West, and made it to the Conferense final... thank you wings.. see you in the fall..

I agree 100%.... what a core group of guys we have here in Hockey Town. This team will be good for a long time..... You gotta feel pretty good when you are down 2 top 4 d men and still outplay the Ducks most of the series.. a couple bounces, and a couple of calls.. and this series could have turned out very different.

Holmstrom hasnt been the same since he got clocked with that dirty hit..... He's been alright, but not nearly as good as i know he could be...

Gigure and a few officials who have felt the need to entertain themselves by sending games to over time...

I must have missed something because each playoff game that i have seen him in, he has looked slow and afraid to get hit..
