Nope. Tried not to pay attention to the fact he was there at all.

ROFL!! Whatever, there was nothing classy about what Sid Crosby did/said last night. There's no denying that he will be a dominate player for years to come barring injury, but he's got a lot to learn before he can even be considered a cream of the crop leader. What Z had to say about what Sid said to him after the final whistle, THAT was classy. He could've totally busted him out right there in front of the whole world but he didn't, he even tried to explain away Sid's actions by saying that he felt he was 'a little frustrated right now'.

QFT.. Couldn't have said it better myself!

Thank you! As for Bert and Schnieder.. screw 'em. Apparently they weren't necessary tools to the team anyway. Rafalski was/is a better defensive player, that doesn't take nearl the penalties that Schnieder did, and scored a good chunk of points to boot. Bert.. meh.. how about that Franzen?
-
No. But even if he is, Lebda sat last night, so it would almost be a woopty-doo.

Awww man c'mon.. catfishes are nice fata$$es. I regularly pet my Bullhead catfish, he's pretty nice especially when I have food. As long as you leave their whiskers alone they are pretty cool though. I *might* post some pictures later.. and no you can't take him to the game saturday.

I can't hardly stand watching NASCAR anymore honestly, BUT, I have found I love the doggie doo-doo out of going to the local dirt tracks. I think NASCAR should run some of the short tracks on the dirt. DO IT IN THE DIRT! The other reason I don't like NASCAR anymore is that it takes waay too much to get around someone. That's why, although I don't frequent open wheel cars like CART, IRL or F1, when I do get the opportunity (that you speed channel, once in a while...) I WILL watch the races. If a guy screws up a little on the dirt, or on the asphalt in one of the above mentioned open wheel cars, that guy that screwed up maybe just a little, gets passed in a hurry, AND quick. And if said guy has a good car, he's gonna be right back on the guy who passed him quick, AND in a hurry. That's racing. Ditch the restrictor plates, limit the CID NASCAR!

A shutout against the mighty LA Kings. Well ok, I don't care whether it was the all star game or maybe his lack of confidence in the team in front of him, but Osgood and the whole Red Wings team's confidence is broken. As I said before they look discombobulated (again, spelling???). They get a couple wins under their belt and they'll be back. Maybe they'll heat up right before the playoffs start- that would be perfect.

THANK YOU! This country, despite what our glorious leaders say is slowly going down the tubes. And they're worried about this crap? I mean really if the government wanted to make a stink about it, it sounds like a job for law enforcement, not congress.

I have unfortunately watched most of the games in this recent slide, and I will say that Ozzie doesn't look all that sharp, but basicly I feel that he's not coming up with the highlight reel saves. If he would've stopped any of the last 6 first period goals the Preds or CBJ's scored on him, I think he would've robbed the guy who scored it. But in all reality, sometimes a goalie has got to rob a few guys- a big save turns the momentum just the same as a big hit, big goal, or for that matter a good scrap. So yes I am scratching my head but really I think they're one win away from turning it around. For Osgood, and the whole team it's a simple matter of confidence. The All-Star game broke Oz's confidence. The wings... I dunno but they better get it back together obviously, they look DISCOMBOBULATED (spelling?) on the whole really.

Yes and no, I mean if the wings are going to rip Toronto off by trading them Hudler for Antropov, might as well give them Sammy instead.
-
Not Hudler.. give the loafs Sammy and call it good.
-
Not nearly enough. That kind of schitt sickens me when I see it.. Ruutu should've been meat-paste on the ice.
-
Osgood's luck has ran out- for the time being. Luck is part of any goalie's game from what I've ever seen. Really I'd be more questioning where his confidence, and for that matter the confidence of the entire club lies at this point. I disagree with anyone saying that he's playing his best ever, I think he did that with the Islanders. He'll be back, and more importantly so will the Wings. I was really actually looking forward to this happening because I'm really sick of seeing Detroit be on top if not darn close in the regular season. It is the playoffs that matter.

Yeah didn't seem like much of a reason to fight, thought the announcer said there was previous problems but whatever. I completely agree that Lucic could've man-handled him a lot worse, it's lucky for Jackman he went down. Wonder when Jackman will get tired of being occaisonally owned and realize he's not a fighter.

I would've banned him after his last episode. He needs to be out of the NHL, period.

I liked the removal of the two line pass, and actually think they should've done it sooner. The goalie trapezoid ok whatever. This, is ridiculous. One of the most exciting d-men of all time made a name for himself on breaking deep into the offensive zone. If they do this that's it for me. It's NOT soccer people, nor should it be played as such. That said, one of my biggest 'I wish this would happen' is to someday see a properly talented team play the torpedo, or some variation of such. Doing this would kill that. Matter fact, everytime Nick Lidstrom moves up in the offensive zone the wings damn near look like they are playing the torpedo this season. I love it, it creates exciting matchups in the offensive zone, and this rule would kill that. Bottom line,

Is Feds playing D full time these days, as in did he play D tonight? thanx

I agree but is he better than Bettman? At this point I'd settle for better than Bettman. Now granted I have little respect for Bobby Clarke, I think he was a thug as a player and is tacky as they come as a GM, but hey he's not Bettman. Oh yeah, before anyone accuses me of 'blind hatred' of our great commissioner- save it I have my reasons.

...and last week he was saying basicly they were so-so.... yep, Melrose has proved again he's a complete d-bag.
-
wow... great move though throw you're jersey over the other guy's head.
-
Melrose is once *again* (as if he needed to) proving that he is a complete D-bag and has not a clue what he's talking about. The dude got his credibility out of a cracker jack box.

There was actually a minute there I wanted him to come to Detroit, but then that statement his agent made crying about how much money he was being offered and how he would go back to Russia was very sobering, and at this point I hope he stays in Russia. Good riddance, but the RSL owners/coaches will get sick of him too. Hopefully at that point he retires.

I've watched Abdelkader play a couple times and was very impressed with his presence on the ice. He may only develop into a 3rd or 4th line center, but he will put forth a good effort and could possibly be a force. I'm looking forward to him moving up in the prospect ranks and seeing what he can do at the minor pro/pro level. And stop beating my Wolverines.
