Dumbest thing you've ever heard another teams fans say

I'm a Canucks fan so I'm allowed to pick a Wings fan. "Pick 2 Teams to eliminate, 1 American, 1 Canadian " -- Wings_Dynasty Source -
Salo just got a nice raise. He's making 1.5 million this year. The next 4 years he making 3.5 per. I know how valuable he is, both defensively and offensively, but I would have preferred to see a 3 year deal at 10.5 as opposed to 4 years at 14 million.
-
There's a team there too. Since Christmas the Canucks are top ten in scoring, and the scoring comes from all 4 lines and the defense.
-
Hey thanks.

There's a weekly series on Sportsnet West called "Canucks This Week". Cooke was on it and the cameras followed him around Vancouver for a day; in his car, to practice, to Canuck Place. Canucks Place is a childrens hospice that the players all put a lot of time into. The kids there loved Cooke. He's just a regular guy. http://www.canuckplace.org/ I just got promoted from rookie to 4th line grinder.
-
And that's why this is my favourite hockey forum. Intelligent, respectful fans who understand a players contributions.
-
You are a rarity outside of Vancouver. Most people hate Cooke because he's an agitator and doesn't like to fight. But tonight before the game Mike Keenan was saying how extremely valuable he is to the Canucks. He hits hard, he can play the PP, the PK, anywhere, and he does it all with passion.
-
Yeah they played a couple bits between face-offs. Nothing too great this time. He did get second star though. Luongo first, Morrison third.
-
I've got it on TSN high definition in western Canada.
-
TSN originally thought it was against Van too, you're forgiven. I saw the high-stick. Something worth remembering; Vancouver is without their 2 best defencemen tonight. Both back on Sunday. Mitchell and Salo.
-
Nope. High sticking to Nashville
-
Van PP. That was an awesome PK.
-
Way to stick to the topic there Drake.
-
Oh I don't under-rate anyone. But we all have our preferences don't we? Having a preference doesn't automatically translate to taking a team lightly. Younggun -- you mentioned Matt Cooke. He's hitting everything in sight tonight. He's also mic'd up.
-
To each his own. The Canucks have gone from a high-powered but often lazy team to a well-rounded hard-working everyman's team. I can get behind that.
-
No offense intended, but me and the vast majority of Canucks fans feel the opposite. Most Canucks fans would love to face Detroit in the playoffs. I think the guy you're quoting is the exception that proves the rule.
-
Canucks are all over Nashville. They don't know whether to s*** or go blind. 2-0 Santala. Shots 17-4 for Vancouver.
-
Bulis from Nazzy. 1-0 Canucks Shots are about 13-2 in favour of canucks.
-
I don't think it will happen either. It would mean that the Canucks have to win about 90 percent of their remaining games and a couple very good teams would have to tank.
-
Oh f***in' please. Since Christmas the Canucks offensive output is in the top 10 in the league. Hovering around 7th. The defense is also very very good. How well did Luongo elevate Florida?
-
I expect it to be a good close game, but with our 2 best defencemen out, it will be dicey. Mitchell has been a defensive monster this year, and Salo's been good on defense and excellent at putting the puck in the net in clutch situations. The guys lower down on the scale will really have to step it up tonight. If Salo and Mitchell were playing, I would predict a regulation win for the Canucks; but tonight I predict an OT/SO that Luongo wins for us.
-
Seattle -- all the way. Seattle and Washington have a great hockey history and should have had a team already. I live near Vancouver and get the local American TV affiliates out of Seattle and Bellingham. They mention the Canucks in their sports broadacasts and even their local junior games.
-
Colorado will take the 8th playoff spot and the Flames will be sitting around in a state of shell-shock. I didn't think Colorado had much of a chance until today, but now I believe they're going to do it. Goaltending will be their downfall come the playoffs.
-
Goodnight edicus. Thanks for the chat.
-
Got it. You'll have home ice advantage in ay least the first round of the playoffs, so things aren't looking all that bad.
