touche. well the only opinion that really matters is not that of we, the glorious armchair quarterbacks of LGW, but that of one Mike Babcock. so until he is convinced that Huds is better than everyone but D and Z, on the 4th line he stays.

i respectfully disagree. if that was true why is he sitting on the fourth line? maybe his lack of ability in the defensive zone has slanted my bias towards franzen/cleary/homer/flip as more complete players. that being said, he was DAMN good this series and i hope he can keep it up in round 2 and beyond.

blow huds nether regions all you like, but if you think he's 3rd on the team in term of offensive talent, you need your head examined. and i like the guy. i really do. but i, like babs, know his role. and thats on the fourth line. why? size and defensive prowess are lacking where others are not. plus like others have said. the line is doing work. why eff with their chemistry?

thats funny. i noticed him in game five when he put a laser beam into the corner of the twine over ellis' left shoulder for our only goal in regulation. sure he only had one goal but had he not scored it, who knows if we win that game. sometimes 1 goal that wins/keeps us in a game is more important than a hatrick in a game we win 7-2.

talking to players/coaches DURING PLAY is the dumbest and most ridiculous angle for covering sports in the history or journalism. it seriously makes me angry. no matter who they interview, it doesn't belong in sports. BEFORE OR AFTER the game like any other sport. this is exactly what hockey DOESN'T need to gain popularity. OHHH LIDS with a great opportunity

i second the surviving the first ten min approach. not that we should be be defensive to prevent a goal or anything, but getting over their initial burst of energy will be huge. they're fighting to stay off the golf course and they are playing like it. keep it up OZZZZZZYYYYYY.
