how about trying hockeytown authentics. when i was there a few months ago they had LANG's O-stick for around 150. dats was of course authentic game used BY DATS and like 300. i'd check there if you wanna see what synergy and warrior and all those are about. they had a HUDS synergy ST for 50. thats right $50!!! too bad i'm a righty...

as much as lilja proved to me this post season, i still think lebda gets the nod. plus his give away against the ducks in game 3/4? was a bummer if theres ever been one. not blaming him, just saying i may always think of that when thinking of lilja.

i could give two s***s. why? they could start "the hockey Channel" and still not be able to show every wings game. even if hockey was on ALL the time which will never happen, center ice is still a necessity for "die hard" wings fans(i put die hard in quotes bc i know its pricey and some people who love the wings far more than i do still can't afford it.) so, espn would be nice but i'll still get center ice to catch ALL the action. same goes for baseball ect ect. so im all for it but not relying on it or holding my breath.

lets not forget the hands homer has when he needs them. yes his ass meets the goalies chest 95% of the time, but homer can razzle and dazzle (this is why he put in some sweet shootout goals when everyone thought babs was insane putting him in). i give you exhibit A: thats pretty damn nice. this being said, the nod does go to smyth when talking of who is the more complete player. but based on salary, homers bang for the buck is astronomical.

i don't know if anyone else looked, but if you check out that knife, it looks COMPLETELY photoshopped. it doesn't even appear to be a knife smeared with fake blood and placed on pavement. the ENTIRE image looks fake. not that any of this matters, just food for though. on a better note, way to go to these two. hockey players rule all.

feds is my favorite player all time. that being said, he'd need to sign for around 1 mil for me to want him back. and that just aint happnin, so hit the bricks!!! although, it would be fun as all hell to see him in the wheel again....

no one cares about stick curve. its NOT like a corked bat, where it gives a players an overwhelming advantage. you could give every guy in the nhl a tree branch and they would still score on goalies. plain and simple. it just makes the game more fun to watch. i say do away with the stick curve rule. i'd love to see some bananas for blades out there...

NUMBER ON THE FRONT: basketball much? this isn't b-ball, this is hockey. b-ball jerseys have them on the front because there is no place for them on the shoulders. hockey sweaters do not have face dilemma and should therefore stick with the three places they are currently. end of story IMO.

is it just me or does every jersey besides the wings and the canadiens just suck. maybe its just cus i like the classic non-flashy type sweaters. just my two cents.

and the anaheim ducks of 07-08 are.... THE NEW YORK RANGERS! jagr, drury, gomez, shanny, and if they sign him, lundqvuist! (there are other less notable good players as well that don't immediately come to mind) god damn. look out eastern conference. what an offseason for the rangers....

there are only a hand full of guys i would HATE for the wings to sign at the league min. so eh. we'll see. if he's decent then were good to go and this was a good move. if he sucks. he sucked at 550k and it aint no thing...

this was on the first page of the thread and i couldn't agree more. if it was 4 mil for the wings or him walking, get the f*** out. he'll be hurt come december. mark those words. and yeah, we have some cap space now i say split it between a big power forward and a big name goaltender and call it a done and done off season. neither of those are a dime a dozen of course, but there are some out there. i wanna know where all this ducks cash is coming from. the rangers too. did they get cap exceptions or are the players selling they're souls for a cup??? i'd maybe take a 500k-1mil dsicount to be a with a tema i loved, but if i was salanne i sure as f*** wouldn't take a 1 year 2.5 mil deal or anything s***ty like that. i'm sleepy and making no sense now. good night all....

wow. i can't believe people are pissed about this. schneids was good and i liked him yes, HOWEVER, he is 38. 2 more years and he is most likely out of the league. rafalski is 32. 500k isn't too much more than schneids and rafalskis passing ability is... oh i dont know ABOUT 1000% BETTER THAN SCHNEIDS EVER WAS. his shot will be missed yes, but 100MPH from the blue line didn't score a ton anyways. i like the move all in all. still can't belive the sabres came up with bubkiss on the briere drury thing. sabres fans should just start rooting for the wings...

only 4 teams make it to the WCF/ECF. and seeing how NY got bounced in 5 games i'd say the wings were the third (arguably 2nd) best team in the league this year. thats NEVER bad. BABS rocks the casbah as i like to say. he took a club that was supposed to do NOTHING and took them deep. a few more bounces and we'd be looking at what it will take to beat OTT. anyone who thinks dif needs to re-examine their expectations. even the superhuman YANKEES dont win the series every year. it takes more than 20 great players to win a cup. it takes heart and coaching.

Round 3 GAME 2: best wings game i've ever been to. best game ever period. the joe was insane. i was high fiving after wings goals and grunting and bitching after both the ducks goals that were video reviewed counted. it sucked they lost but that game was exciting as hell and thats all i could ask for. oh and the 16th row lower bowl seats (250 face value) were givin to myself and 3 family members by my saintly aunt. DARCY YOU ROCK!!! i'd never trade that experience. GO GET EM IN 08!!!

yes pronger is out (like he should be). BUT the ducks are still dangerous and will come out flying due to his absence. if the wings play AN ENTIRE 60 min like game 3, they win. if not, they lose a nail biter. that said, no prediction. wings will come to play and show anaheim that bush league play will result in a score board whooping. LETS GO RED WINGS. (note: had tix to this game, but to get from san diego to anaheim by six would be murder and i already saw a game from this series at the joe and you just can't top that. plus i dont have 200 bucks to blow on tix. i know i shoule be going no matter what, but you can't see them all....)
